    Oh goodness. I couldn't afford 10 acres. The price is riding steeply here. Our house was purchased in 2016 for 420k and is now worth 650k+. My best friend got 2 acres off coyote springs for 65k. They are county, not pv so she can have chickens for days.

    I have a buff orpington and two australorps. But just discovered that prescott valley ordinance forbids chickens unless you live on an acre or more. And even then, only 2 chickens per acre 🙄. I checked my HOA but not city and now I'm like well damn let's change this.

    Yesterday morning I had to put my Rouen to sleep. She was attacked by a racoon that tore one wing off and left the other broken. She was in such shock that she just stood there. The blood loss was bad Broke my heart. The doctor said that surgery is possible but she most likely will not survive...
