Thanks, I will keep a close eye on her. She seems fine, I did not see any mites on her but will look again. We are getting 5 americana the end of January so the whole pecking order is going to change again. Maybe she wont be the bottom chicken anymore.

No, we do not, I guess it will just take time. We will have to just keep an eye on them.

Here is ours, just added the new run, it only needs to be covered with chicken wire and hardware cloth.

We try to clean ours out every week. Our coop is 8x8 and we use one bail of wood chips per/week. Remove all the old stuff and put it in our compost bin. We also hang new vanilla air fresheners every week, it seems to help with the flies.
