    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Okay, I understand now. What I was saying is the judging is higher quality in the APA cause of the amount of training they go through

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

That is soo funny, I was just planning yesterday night to buy some Silver Laced Wyandottes and cross them to test it

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Huh, explain? After all, like I said, I'm actually into it  That's why I like it more

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Yea, I'm one of the only Blue Andalusian breeders with quality in North America. Yea, it's the same with Columbian Leghorns, they are apparently standardized yet I can't find a trace of them. I much more prefer the APA than the ABA just because of how the judges are trained. I'm going through...

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

I declare, I quite overlooked that Additionally, those hens in the pictures are younger, that's why the lacing is cr**y. I am soo curious to see a picture of Black Laced Blue D'Anvers. I've never even seen master exhibitors with that much distinction in their Blue D'Anvers. I did know the ABA...

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Do you exhibit at ABA sanctioned shows? The APA hasn't recognized Blue D'Anvers yet. Was your D'Anvers hens laced like the hens in this picture?

Those are good, especially the ones with black lacing on them like the Andalusians

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

This SOP confuses me sometimes. They will put an extremely rare bird like the Columbian leghorn in it, and they won't put something as common as a Chocolate orpington in it

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Looks like your gonna get quite a large variety of adults from these. Oh, in the American Poultry Association they admitted Columbian Leghorns. Have you ever seen them in this country?

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Same here, but I'm sure it is gonna take quite a few gens to master. But I'm up to the challenge

And my friend Perry's endless collection of Wyandottes :p

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Sounds cool. One of the reasons I started this thread wasn't so much about showing off my birds but to show off what someone could do with one breed and a few colors/patterns. I'm not a genetics scholar. I've never even read a genetics book of any sort. I like to say I know a lot about a little...

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Well I do have 350 egg incubators :lau. I also have a lot of free time for paying attention to each breed.

I should have known he would use his website name as his BYC name :th. I'll go follow him!

    The Moonshiner's Leghorns

I am also breeding to standard, but I have quite a bit of poultry breeding friends who are members of the APA like myself and we are looking to get our varieties recognized in the future
