My jubilees are 9 months.... so if it's not enough that they are slow to mature, I have one deranged hen that sits in the nest box for some time and then comes out and lays the egg as she walks...
When I made these nest boxes extra large for these girls I figured there would only be one in each side, but I guess they got lonely and wanted to chat...

Some advice please on my jubilees
I have 2 roos in with my 3 girls - one of the roos is a bit larger, a bit better form and more protective of his girls. I will be using him for breeding. At the moment I have everyone in one pen, however as nothing is going on in the egg laying dept anyway...
Oh Richard darling...I hope you know you have to speak to them with a british accent, otherwise they don't understand. But if you ask me, I think mine are deaf!
