My chick-babies got yogurt today for the first time, mixed with their favorite - scrambled eggs. I've been reading on the forum that yogurt was good for them, so why not give it a try. They weren't quite sure at first, but of course one tries, they all try. They cleaned the bowl up pretty well...

They apparently don't have my sweet tooth. They will pick at seedless red grapes & hand picked blackberries...they're OK, but "Give me eggs & broccoli...yeah " They got their absolute favorite again...scrambled eggs w/grit & raw broccoli. You'd think they'd get tired of the same old thing.

This is what my chick-babies (3 weeks) looked like today when they tried cut up red seedless grapes for the first time. I tried a few Cheerios this AM, but received VERY suspicious looks & a few jabs. I thought they would have fun with them...not really. Oh well, I'll try some whole grapes...

Mine are still young-uns (2 1/2 weeks) , so they got the rest of a scrambled egg mixed with some grit. Up until yesterday, they had only eaten chick starter & grit. They sure do love egg. Being a first time chick mom, I am a bit leery of feeding them too many new things at such a young age...
