There was some reason I rejected Cedar, but I can't remember exactly why. I'd have to look it up. I had mine narrowed to arborvitae or cypress and believe I was mistaken and got cypress instead of arborvitae. I don't remember lol I got them for clearance price at lowes last fall.

I'm growing some sort of arborvitae. They aren't the giant ones though. These get about 12-18 feet tall and about 5-8 feet wide. I also have some spruce growing but they are very slow growers compared to the arborvitae. Both can be trimmed and kept shorter if need be.

Sorry to hear bout your son's job. Hope he gets it sorted out soon. I don't miss house shopping at all. I ended up with my little house on a basement in town with 3 acres. I don't like having neighbors but I tolerate it. I will tolerate it a lot better when my privacy trees finish growing in...

Looks good and I'm sure has less chemicals than what is normally used. Poor Atlas, has a bunch of teases.

Sorry to hear Atlas is being a bully to his girls. Hopefully it's just a phase. I'm sure we have a fair amount in town for the eclipse as well. We are at 98% or so where I am in Missouri. Congrats Kitkat on the first egg! I don't expect I'll get any eggs until close to spring unless they...

Sorry to hear about the incident with Atlas. Some cornstarch would have majorly slowed or stopped the bleeding inmost cases. It's what's used if a nail get's trimmed too short in most pets. Yeah the trust sounds like a good idea all in all. I thought this was the first year of fall chicks...

Sorry for the plumbing issue, but at least it was a quick fix. I agree. Unless you are wealthy, you can't afford not to know how to fix most things. My guy knows and is capable enough to do most things I can't handle myself. Plus, you know, is a giant and reaches everything :P

Some nice looking barbs you got there for sure. Yeah, occasionally I'll ask if someone can deliver to me but only if it's not out of people'sway and if it is I always offer gas money. Folks that either don't bother to think about time and gas costs or are just selfish enough to not care are...

Yes, any pet the best way to go is natural old age. Been playing with the cross calculator. Is crazy that the first mix only has 2 options but then the 2nd mix has like 30. I'm like ..what? I can't wait till spring when hopefully I can do the first crosses :)

:frow Decided to join in the thread. You have a lot pretty chickens for Sure I read through the first 150 posts and then just skipped way ahead so missed a couple years in the middle lol I've always been fond of docile pretty roosters as well. I won't tolerate a mean rooster or overly mean...
