Rest In Peace, my sweet Tramp. He made it way longer than my first one. Between 6 to 8 months. :(
But, the one pro to keeping fish, is that most fish (with koi and gold fish as an exception) don’t live forever. When one dies, it make room for something new.
I love Guppies! I had quite the breeding fling going on back around 2020-2021. I roughly had around 50 fry, however I lost the whole batch. Had they not died, I was likely going to be able to sell them to our pet store.
Before my 10 gallon became home to my single angel fish, it was the home of...
What a stinker! Well, happy fish, happy life. 😂
Not to mention, little less than a week ago I caught him bloated. I gave him half of a peeled and defrosted not to mention, little less than a week ago I caught him bloated. I gave him half of a peeled and defrosted pea, a water change, and a...
Thank you. I will keep this in mind. (The Fire mouth is my personal favorite, no harm shall come to him. :D)
We had an Electric blue Jack Dempsey. We were able to keep two in the mixed tank (both have passed a while back), and the oldest one (Kept alive for over a year) was more of a...
Thank you for all this wonderful information Colt, we will take this information in as we go forward in the fish hobby. But we have had multiple Cichlid types together for at least two years, and we have not had any severe aggression problems. :) They have all set up their own territories in the...
Thank you. Some aquarium enthusiasts will tell you that the South Americans and the Africans can be aggressive towards each other, but it’s mostly just about temperaments and emphasis on water parameters.
We very likely have 16 Cichlids total in our 65 gallon, plus one zebra loach, and one extra large Pleco. Although we have a mix of Africans and south Americans, they never really seem to bother each other aggression wise. We have been very lucky with temperaments.
My personal favorite in the...
@KingB, here are our babies from this year.
And our Cobalt Zebra Malawi (Mbuna), Big blue. She has been trying to get one of our multiple males to fertilize her eggs, but they all swim away from her and hide. 😂
Thank you so much for insight! I hope you continue to be successful.😊 I have a red veiltail, at least, I think that’s what he is, I bought him as a baby.
How big is he? When I got my little squirt, Tramp, he was as small as a neon Tetra. If he is less than an inch or two, than I guess he is under 6 months, as bettas are fully mature at 6 months.
Found this neat chart. 😁 I hope it helps in some way.
Ooh! These photos compliment him way more! :eek:Reminds me of fall colors.
Calico works! I love calico anything.
Oh yeah, how do those houses I see in the tank work? Are they aquarium pots?
