Way to go little one! That one will be a handful. Haven't had a chick pop out upside-down but have delivered many breach baby goats, and they seem to all end up being the rowdy ones.lol
Hello rayven, I read the whole thread about Steve and his little duck hatching adventure. Kept me on the edge of my seat!
Anyway, don't know if you do geese or not but there's a fellow over there with a really sick baby. The thread is titled "gosling dying in my hands" if you can help or know...
Congrats on all the new babies! They are so adorable!
Candled my 5 goose eggs, day 7.. 3 are definitely developing the other 2are questionable.
I'm getting tooooo excited this early in the game! lol
So today is day 3 for my goose eggs. I wiped the dirty one but didn't want to wash the bloom off. I hope it's not too dirty?!?! Never done geese so it's all new. I found an article here on temp, humidity and so on.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
They are adorable! And I love the roost. I'll have to put some in for mine. My biggest problem is them scratching all the fees out of the feeder and all over the pen. Any way of solving that one?
