Very nice! That guard definitely looks much less restrictive than the plastic mesh canvas.
Once again thanks for listening and more importantly, responding. Cheers!
It depends on the ambient temperature and humidity of the location where the incubator is being placed.
Dry and cool room, probably will need it in. Warm and humid, you may need it out.
You will have to monitor the interior humidity of the unit to determine if you need the plug in or out.

It will run at 100% to get to your target temperature. Once at that temperature it will back off and only use the percentage of power needed to maintain that target temperature. This is just a way of showing you how the heater is performing. I found that by putting a towel under the...
Definitely contact customer service. They are very quick to respond and I'm sure they will solve your problem and ship you replacement part(s) if needed.

You're welcome. You are right, lots and lots of info. It can be a bit overwhelming at first. I still reference it at times. It is a great page to have bookmarked if you are hatching eggs.

Lockdown is the final 3-4 days of incubation when you stop turning the eggs and leave them be to hatch. Have you seen this awesome link yet? https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101

I did not get a good true test as I had cutdown modified egg cartons holding the detached air sac eggs which I'm sure disturbed the air flow somewhat. I had a 1.1 degree temperature difference from the egg closest to the fan to the egg furthest from the fan in the corner. Much better...

Good luck with your hatch! I had 20% on my first with shipped eggs. Today is officially 'Day 1' for our second hatch in the Incuview. Shipped eggs again (I know, it's a crapshoot), 18 Old English Red Pyle bantams. 9 had detached air sacs so they are all standing on end in holders for a...
Cleaned up the bator and it is awaiting new arrivals. My initial review.
Pros:
Good price for the size
Awesome view into the unit
Auto turning tray
Adjustable controls (heat, turning and other advanced functions)
Super easy to clean and sanitize after a hatch
Easy to perform modifications
Can...
My wife texted me at 10am this morning saying the peeping was LOUD and she saw a pip. at 11:30am we had "Nugget", TWO full days early. I had not gotten my parts yet! This is what I got on the way home today. This fan even had some convenient clips on the sides that allowed me to just snap it...
I locked down a little early last night as a couple of the eggys are starting to wobble.
Nice tip. If I can't find the parts I need at the computer shop later today I think I have a bowl that will work like that, I'll just have to make sure it isn't too tall to block the air flow.
I sent them an email and within a few days it arrived free of charge.
Well nuts. I wanted to go find some fan parts and the nearest computer supply store to me is about 20 miles from here. I ventured up that way yesterday to find a sign on the door saying that they are no longer open on...
Thanks for checking in and like has been said here before, your customer service/support rocks.
I'm headed to a computer store later today to see if they have any spacers in stock to try out.
