Yes our own Island, that sounds good why just looking for a piece of land? Lets go with a full Island!! LOL
PEI CHICKEN:
I would love to come, we already thought about it, lets see how the summer works out, maybe we can find someone to look after our critters and take of for a bit. Maybe in...
Way to go, who else wanna retire on PEI or somewhere East, we could build a chicken and Homestead community out there (just kidding!)
We do not have any relatives there, actually not at all in Canada, but we are looking for something to retire and a place to let everything go a little easier...
I hear ya, we are currently in Alberta, but planning on leaving here within the next 5 Years or so. We also wanna take our little livestock with us and are looking for a little Hobby Farm or Land to build on. Until than we collect experience in Homesteading as far as possible and than we know...
Congratulations, for you.
Here are some pictures of my 2 week old Barred Rock and Ameraucana
Also I was a little creative in the last few days, I made myself a Feeder which I can hang on the Wall. So this is my first try and I did paint it ( not finished still a little to do) so...
Hi StarSpun,
I would take them in a heartbeat but I am totally out of your range. I am sorry to hear about it, hope someone closer by will be able to help you out.
Yes that what I thought so, I mean it is understandable that they try to keep the health issues out of canada, and limit the risk of importing illnesses which are under control or not even present.

Just a thought which...
Lucky me LOL if being a resident is fine with you, well than I keep posting
See and here they are, just going ahead with where we left.
So I know from importing stuff from Germany that they are very strict with even bringing in Seed for plants. They are very hard with that, the one time...
Agree, but I am not canadian I just live in Canada
So am I out now ??
I can't help you with the Faverolles, don't have them. But lets think about something we could do here, some nice stuff, if I am still in here
You are right! Why is it so? Why do they handle it not all the same way? I think it is not harming anyone if you take them through the boarder. It might be different if it would be a different continent lets say from the US to Europe than I could understand, and there are hatchery's around they...
Well I may come back to this offer, found a feeder I would love to get, but Amazon doesn't send it to Canada, so maybe if I do not find it here somewhere ….. ;-)
Of course pay for all your cost's
