    MALLARD THREAD...not rouens, Mallards!

My domestic mallard knows how to get in and out of the coop and has begun to walk around the yard and brining a wild mallard male back to the coop. Should I do anything or just let her keep doing it?

They usually do a good lap or two around the yard and they can get pretty high up, we have a huge yard not sure exactly how big but the chickens and ducks are free range all day. Maybe a few minutes or more I've seen them in the air, I don't know what they do when I'm gone but it's every morning...

My girls Thelma & Louise out flying this morning after eating. Just happened to get a good landing photo. So what do I have to measure to check size? Do I have to weigh them to see how big they are? If so where do I measure? I really am just curious if there mixes or not. I do know when they...

Here are some pictures of my two females, 13 weeks old compared to my largest black rooster and my Rhode Island Red rooster, all born same day. Is there a chance I might have mallards and not mixes looking at the size comparison? They fly really well and do a few laps around the yard each day...

My two girls just started flying laps around the yard. You guys mentioned they are mallard Rouen mix is that normal for a mix breed? All photos taken after eating, they have lost a lot of weight since they started flying.

They are beautiful, how does someone get mallards like that? And which state are you in if you breed them, I would love to own a pair myself.

I don't have specific feed amount, since I have so many chickens and the chicks live with ducks and run free in the back yard during the day they usually have a feeder that they all joint share. One duck is usually the first to eat.
