Arwen glanced at her watch. Man, time had gone by fast. "I think that's enough torture for my friends for one day... I gotta go." She grabbed her bag and started walking home, turning around and flashing him a smile. "Bye..." Her friends immediately went to their phones...
Julie glanced out the window to the trees. Many people would call her insane, but she enjoyed living in isolation from everybody else. It was somehow... calming. As if it was an entirely different realm to the one she lived in. Laying back on the couch she turned the television on to BBC...
The girls glanced at each other, each waiting for another to say something. Arwen had to keep herself from laughing; their faces were priceless.
"Oh, okay..." Kevin said, closing his backpack, now that the papers were all shoved in it.

Arwen looked away to hide a snicker. They looked like they were about ready to die from embarrassment.

Thomas closed the door after watching her leave. He made his way back to his living room, where he picked up his book again.
"Do you know the forest near here well?" Thomas asked, though she definitely already did. "There's a lake with a blasted pine tree. It got struck by lightning a couple years ago. Quite large. Should stick out if you walk by it."
