Now there's blue and silver snowy?? And appleyard have green heads except when they have brown heads??
My daughter would say you guys are trolling me. :lau
Yeah call colors are almost impossible!
No green iridescence at all. The other drake you see there is normal green colored, nothing like him. He's just finishing getting his color though, maybe it'll still happen. I suspect he is off color though.
Hopefully mine will be laying by then.... also could relay! I get with pyxis then drive south to meet you! I'm crazy ri even think about driving right now. Might have been in your area this summer too, we went to Harper's Ferry.
They sure don't look messed up to me! You can put me down for eggs in the spring also if you'll have spares. I'd really like to hatch 20 or so. Maybe more. Calls=potato chips.
I won't have housing restrictions once this dog grows up enough to get off the couch and guard all day lol.
Wow that's so handy to get both on one trip! This drive looked to be about 11 hours one way, but i hit the most appalling traffic mess for a good 200 miles around Boston mass. So I ended up in the car from 3am to 6pm. Can't recommend that! I like a nice long drive but this was scary wreck...
Yes I will! Can you believe I ended up driving to Maine to get my LGD puppy? That was crazy. I was thinking of you actually as they had emus there! Probably I was pretty close to you as I came home through Vermont and NH.
That was a great post and really helps me out. I guess I'll have to wait and see and have crates ready to go lol. And get on everyone's list for first crack at eggs in the spring hopefully! Obviously I must have more calls. Especially silver, really need silver and pastel.
So glad to read...
I love all the unusual colors too, definitely need to source lots of eggs next spring. Plus something has to break this 3 drake 3 duck thing up. What's the ideal ratio?
