Day 25 over here! Lockdown! We got a pip already! Have 9 indian runner duck eggs... 8 looked strong 1 iffy.... Ahhh the painful wait begins!

Congrats everyone whos have hatchlings! Ugh soo excited ... 5 more days till i go into lock down with my duck eggs.... Hurry up hatch day ! :/

I feel your pain jd, dont give up entirely. I think i may try again with shipped eggs once the temps cool down... As for now just waiting to see what hatches from my duck eggs.

What a bummer just candle showgirl eggs, the one i gave to my broody is going strong, 2 quit, 9 nothing, and 4 that i left cause they were dark... But i dont have high hopes.... Bright side day 15 for my runner eggs and the 9 inhave are going strong....

Day 15 for my duck eggs day 8 for my chicken eggs gonna candle the chicken eggs to see if anything is happening....

So my nugget went broody... So i decided after a week of her broodieness i'd give her an egg from the incubator....one with good viens as for the other 17 eggs i think nothing going on.. Atleast thats how it appeared the last time i checked... We shall see...

Im not a hundred percent sure but when i had i fertile eggs the air sac never grew.... And it lite up completely ...:/

Yeah im real mercous, i got new batteries, rechecked and saw faint viens in more then one of my silkie eggs... But still real hard to tell, but my duck eggs minus the 2 i had to take out , i saw movement ! I wish i could have captured it seriously the coolest thing... Ugh i just hope they all...

So just candled my duck eggs, out of 11- 1 looks like a quiter and 1- looks like a dud ( day 11) as for my silkieshowgirls out of 18 i can see viens on one but barely ugh.... Hope its my light being too dull( batteries are low) and it being too early.... Gonna wait til day 8or 10 ... Hope...

I want to candle mine...i thinking to candle my duck eggs on day 12, it will be day 5 for my show girl eggs... But then i thinkperhaps wait for day 10 on my showgirl/silkie eggs which will be day 17 for my ducks.... Ugh.... I dont know if i can wait that long lol
