Tiny and petite, clean legs. Colorwise, many varieties start out chipmunk striped, but some don't. I think most of the bantams in store bins are either silkies or cochins, which should be obvious to avoid, and OEGBs. Some may have d'uccle too, those should be easy enough to tell also.
