No broody hens yet. I do have the incubators up and running and should have some chicks around Easter Weekend. I am hoping my orpingtons decide they want to sit at some point this spring. I have 11 EE eggs in the incubator now greens and blues!!

I have decided that I am not going to set any until the Easter Hatch-A-Long. We set on the 17th of March. I am hoping the girls are laying by then . If not would you pm me your price so I would definitely at least have something to set.

That is great to hear. I moved 4 boys out last night which made a huge difference with Fred, the dominate roo. He did not come after me today like he has been. I just hope I took out the right 4 I hope they start laying soon.

I am itching to break out the bator with this easy winter we are having but decide I will wait and join in the Easter Hatch-A-Long. I am patiently waiting for my girls to start laying so I can hatch. Any other Vermonter's having the same itchy feeling? or joining the hatch-a-long?
