Yes it did. It laid there for a second and I kinda petted it hard to get it back up and she hopped up and seems fine. If anyone is a Harry Potter fan they will appreciate that her name is Hermoine and she was almost eaten by a snake. Thank you, I plan on getting good sleep.

Bout midnight Monday morning, my baby chicks start going crazy. (Very unusual). Yankee (our dog) darts off the bed to the living room, I'm close behind half asleep, not turning on lights. Only the hallway light is on. I look in on the chicks and they are crazy and something in my sleepy head...

Yeah, I'd say Alaska has real snow. I enjoyed a few days off. Over all they were relaxing just hanging with the boys. However, my oldest son and I function best with a routine so I'm kinda secretly glad we are back in school.

    Arkansas folks speak up.........

Sorry. Devices needed to be charged. All four ducks are still alive. 1 is almost completely hatched. 2 are about halfway and 1 is just getting started. They seem so slow and for lack of a better word lazier than when the chicks hatched. I'm not sure if this has to do with interruption of...

    Arkansas folks speak up.........

No. I think I'm gonna have to help hatch. They just aren't doing much, look dry, so they are wrapped in warmish wet paper towels. This no electricity and these ducklings are stressing me.
