The table is 14 feet long! We had it made by the local sawmill when we built the house. The member of parliament who got famous for having is moat cleaned on his expenses had the rest of the tree for a staircase !

Thank goodness, a very worrying time while they were in the post...would have hated it too be the two "foreigners" to let you down. Mary is in France for a few days but I bet she checks this site if she can too see if the blocks have turned up!
Having put group quilts together before it is unlikely that all or in fact any will measure exactly 12 1/2" THe best way to deal with it is to add a border of 2 or 3 " to each block in a colour that pleases you and then trim them to 15 or 16 " then they are all uniform.
