No,no! It's just a small portion of meals. Like a tablespoon or 2. Meat and bone needs to be the majority or all (according to some) of the meal. Sorry, I hope what I said wasn't misleading.

I've been raw feeding my dogs for over 15 years. I started my first when she was 8 years old. You can start them anytime. There's many ways to do raw feeding. I used to do whole bones, but I have gulpers that swallow everything whole, so I feel better grinding everything. I choose to feed a...

We have 2 in the area. The closest is about 5 minutes up the road. Only open Friday and Saturday, noon to 4. Milk is $4/half gallon. They have goat and cow, but have recently sold off most of the cows. They sell ground beef, produce in season, kefir, yogurt and home canned and baked goods...

That's what I pay for raw milk. It's high, but I think it's worth it. I don't pay any buy in fees, but basically, you'r paying to keep that farm running and the cows fed.

Just an FYI, Dawn is a degreaser. It'll strip the oil from your dog's skin and coat and eventually, it'll cause problems.

I'm a dog groomer. I trade getting my hair cut for grooming the dog.

Mine isn't an HE. I do leave the top open and running bleach or vinegar didn't help at all. I think it's our water combined with the drought. We had way too much rain this spring and now we are back in drought, in my area.

Adding some peroxide should help whiten your clothes. I'm having the odor problem with everything I wash. It started several years ago. I think it's our water. We have a high mineral content. As a matter of fact, the town used to be known for it's healing mineral water. I hear it was...

I use Zote because the Fels Naptha is too strong smelling for me. It makes me sneeze.

My clothes hang all over my house. I have over the door hangers that hold 7 items. Door knobs, over the top of doors, dog crates (there's a lot of dog crates, way more than dogs)...

I have a couple of suggestions. My clothes dryer was ruined when the hot water heater went out and flooded my house while I was out of town. I haven't had one for 2 years now. I hang all my clothes. Everything is stiff and wrinkled, most of the time, but if you can dry clothes for 10...

I do this too. My card that was compromised had never been used online. I also never pay for gas with a card, always cash.

My and several people I know, debit cards recently had fraudulent charges. I had no problem disputing it and getting the money returned to my account. I've had (and am still having) identity theft. They had over $8000 worth of credit card debt in my name. I was able to prove fraud because I...

I worked at a vet clinic and saw a dog die from paste wormer. But, as I said, I'm no vet, so if you and your vet are ok with it, who am I to argue?

Never give the paste! I don't use invermectin. My first dog was allergic to it, so I use Sentinel. Some vets will help you with the dosage. Doesn't hurt to ask. You can Google it, but I'd still check with my vet or someone knowledgeable that you trust.. Sometimes it will tell you to mix it...

Oh, you reminded me. Using Ivermectin for HWP. It's given orally, not injected. Also, You can buy HWP from Australia without a prescription. I keep meaning to look into that. I have friends that do it. It's more cost effective if you buy a lot, so find some friends for a group buy.

Dogs, and every other animal, need their hormones to grow properly. Since I compete with my dogs, I don't want to deal with BIS or intact boys. But I don't s/n until after they are a year old. Older if it's a large breed. You want the growth plates closed before s/n. Aside from a higher...

It tastes horrible. Banamine tastes worse (it's not for human use, so don't try it). I worked on horse farms for many years.

I've been lurking on this thread since it started. Picked up a lot of useful info. I'm about to order glasses for the first time, thanks to some of you near the beginning of the thread. Now I have a question. I asked at the local grocery store today about produce and, since the boss and...
