I would keep her caged for a while... only because i'd worry about her trying to move the babies... But you can try it and see what she does.. she may not want to move them after they are born.. although.. they DO sometimes like to move them... its an instinct so predators cant...

No, cats wont usually abandon their babies.. she WILL keep trying to move them though..if she dosent like the nest spot you have chosen..
but..i think that if she escapes from the crate..she wont go far because her babies will still be in the crate..so she'll want back into the...
make sure the chickens cant get to the kittens... if they see the blood from birthing..they may go after the babies... i know i've seen my birds kill small critters.. a frog and a chipmunk...
maybe i worry too much..but chickens can be brutal sometimes...
Yes, please put her in the crate... cover it..make it private and semi dark for her.
I'm just worried that she'll have those babies outside..that that would be sooo bad this time of year..
is there a special place that you have noticed that she likes to hang out in..?? Somewhere in the barn...
Awww! Yup..shes gonna pop soon..
Kittens sre SO sweet... make sure you have her locked up somewhere now... so she dosent go off and have them outside someplace...
Please pen her up to have her babies..bring her inside someplace warm, darkish and quiet. My cat wanted me sit with her while she had her babies.. if i left her side, she hopped out of her box and went and found me...
Also...with penning her up, you will be able to help her if she needs help...
