I don't plan on breeding it but it's doing great. I plan to keep it as a pet. It's not suffering or crying. It does great eating and drinking. I am just planning on having a physically disabled pet chicken...named Hobbs.

I only had one egg of hers hatch...and it's my gimpy one named Hobbs. It's only 4 weeks old. Still kicking but it's poor leg...I don't know what to do about it! :/ I also got a great deal from an auction of hers.

Yay!!!! I love it when they lay their first egg!! I too "loaded" up on eggs! Super cool!!! I am going to get some! Okay so I will separate her and I will plan to up protein but I am not going to force a molt. I don't want to starve her for a week.:( shes my Lil Bit!!!! I can be patient...

How do I stop it??? Poor girl can't fly at all. She has to sleep on and nest in the nest box on the ground.

Adult. No one else. She also has no feathers on her head. I know she picked on by a couple but she seems fine and no breaking on the skin. I treat them regularly every 6 months and if I see signs.... (I check everyday) I will retreat. But I have not seen any on them for months!!!

Yes. 2 pure anconas and 2 cayuga / ancona crosses. ;) the 2 blackish ones are the crosses and the brown and white and white are the pures.
