He was super docile. When he usually struts around. I checked for mites, pasty booty, and really a...

I would say the first picture are the buffs. I have 12- 10 week old buffs and as tiny chicks they looked like yours. As for the second picture I'd say Dark but that's a guess really. Have fun with them, I know I have. Welcome to the thread.

    Backyard Brahmas!!

The logs are an oak tree that fell in our woods. We secured them with a 6 inch lag screw. Only 2 has actually stood on them but I'm sure once they get acclimated they'll use them.

    Backyard Brahmas!!

Thank you for comment about my honeys setup. They seem to like it. :D This all happened last night....I also had a situation where they huddled in a corner. Backyard Brahmas!!

Reading this helps my "1st night in coop" anxiety.....I'll let them work it out. I know they are safe but it's still nerve racking!!! About your escapee...guess it's harder to teach an old hen new tricks??? Bless her little heart....never a full moment in the chicken world!!

    Backyard Brahmas!!

Thank you for all your suggestions...I ended up putting a low watt light pointed toward the coop opening and they all stayed inside...so far. I guess this is trial and error at this point.
