Hello Friends,
I am hoping there is a dear in salt lake city that would be willing to care for my three chickens (Milkshake, Papaya, and Boot) for a couple of months. We love our chickens dearly and need to build them a better coop. The one they have is OK, but the chickens being as loving and sweet as they are, have been sharing their food with whoever stops by their coop, including mice. Their new coop will not have mouse access. I will not be able to build the new coop for a little while, and I worry that my chickens generosity in the mean time will allow the mouse family to become larger yet. If someone has room for three extra chickens in their coop for a short time, I would provide their food, and you can have their Organic eggs.
I would really appreciate meeting a nice chicken friendly family in the area as it is, but if someone could chicken sit for a bit so I can improve their coop and eradicate the mice, that would be great. My girlfriend Stephanie and I would even have hopeful Chicken sitters over for a nice dinner if they would like.
Please help us if you can.
Thanks.
Andrew, Stephanie, Milkshake, Papaya, and Boot.

I'm in Utah, but south central part of the state! I would repost this into the https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/24/utah it's in where am I? Where are you? section. Posting the Utah section will get you a better responce. Good luck! Have you considered just selling them and then just getting new hens when your coop is ready?
