Help!!! Baby chick and a prolapse!!!

Update: the sac broke off, theres a little bit of fluid falling off its bottom, but she seems to be ok. Theres still a small prolapse type thing coming out of her vent, wondering if I should see if she lives, let her dry off, the add some antibiotics?

Another update:She doesn't look good

. Upon closer look she has it looks like her intestines (worm like thing protruding from her vent) prolapsing with a little bit of blood. I also noticed one of its eyes and and beak are not opened yet. It is possible that she may have hatched too early and wasn't done "forming" yet?

Hard to tell from the pics. If you feel up to it, it may be better to just cull her now.
I have had this happen a few times. Just take a scissor, and cut her head off.
Quick and painless.
I can't tell if that's intestine hanging out, or just the cord, that should dry up and fall off.
Need better pictures to be sure....

Yes..as of this morning. It seems to be a little trooper, it slept throught the night and was awake this morning. She still can't stand up, but it will move around. I'm still puzzled about the extremity on her bottom. Upon closer look it isn't coming out of the vent (the prolapse was, but I'm thinking that it was the yolk sac as it was yellow), I think it' the intestines of the umbilical cord? I've never actually seen the umbilical cord of the bird, but it still may be it. She's still in the brooder, will check when I get home.

Ok I've seen this before and I would probably carefully cut it off and apply neosporin. Like the last person said. If its mostly air and not a lot of yolk he probably got enough nutrients. He looks quite allert so just please keep him warm and that's about all you can do. Keep us posted!!! Good Luck!!!!

Fingers are crossed!!
