To all that have the pecked swollen eye thing-- i had a chick with the same thing. the bulge was a s big as the head. I got some triple antibiotic Neosporin with pain releif and just applied it to the outside, no washing or anything. The results were amazing! i never thought the bird would see again, never mind live, but in one day the swelling went down by a third. The second day over half, the third day, it was down all the way. In just four or five days the bird had her ey open and was actually seeing out of it. I never thought the Neosprin would be able to reach thru all that pus, but it did and completely cured the bird.
