Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

Here is a quick and yet EXCITING update. My 3 eggs that were laid by my white crested blue polish are getting these tiny crazy little crests. These will be one strange looking chickens! They look like they are going to feather out to be blue and ?????







 
I love them! Thy are going to be snazzy looking indeed.
All my mixed chicks are all similarly colored...more boring than I had imagined. I was thinking different colors and such..but they are all shades of black and gray

I'm hoping there will be some patterns as they feather totally...but so far the wing feathers match the down

What hens/roo combo did they come from??? My roo is a RIR while my other hens were all buff orpingtons, hens all the shades of yellow chicks...lol My Auracana hen had chicks who look just like the others, with one puffy cheeked one coming along. Not sure what my yellow ones will feather out to look like.
 
Wow, sorry I have been MIA, life has taken over, I am in the final weeks of this semester for school and am completly bogged down with homework and I am only taking 3 classes!

All my chicks are doing great and getting big!! One was re-homed on Monday and I have been getting regular updates on him, so that makes me happy. The rest are going back to where I got the eggs from this Saturday, which makes me really sad, I like have them around, but they are getting too big for the brooder and I have no where else for them to go...I tried to sell them but got no takers. Everyone elses chicks look great and I love that your three are getting their crests!!! YAY!!
