    Hot Weather And Broody Hen

    Hi! I have a broody hen sitting on some hatching eggs out in my barn right now and we have some warm weather coming up, in the upper 80’s, and I’m worried about her getting too hot. Will she? Is there anything I could do to keep her cool like putting a fan on her, or would that stress her out...

    Moving chicks from one broody to another broody

    I have 1 hen that hatched 2 chicks on may 6th and 1 hen that hatched 9 chicks on may 3rd. They are now about a week old. My question is, am I able to/should I move a couple of the chicks from the hen that already has 9 chicks, to the hen that only had two chicks? Or should I just leave them...
