    My hen just laid an egg in front of me!

    Exactly as the title says, one of my hens just laid an egg in front of me after squawking for a few minutes. Has anyone else had something like this happen? It was funny!

    My hen has been pacing back and forth in the run for hours, and has not laid an egg yet even though it's 11:17 am!

    Could anyone tell me why my hen Bertha is pacing and squawking loudly? And why she hasn't laid an egg yet (she usually lays much earlier)? Thanks in advance.

    One of my chickens started laying eggs almost 1 week ago, but the others haven't started yet. Why?

    I have 4 ISA Brown chickens who are almost 17 weeks old. One of them started laying eggs a while back, but none of the others have started yet. I am feeding them adult food from Purina. Why haven't they started laying yet? Are they too young or am I doing something wrong?

    Has anyone ever drained any of their hen's first eggs and saved it?

    I decided to drain my first egg from my current flock, spray a clear coat of spray-paint on it, and keep it. Has anyone else done anything like this? (Also I'm attaching a pic of said egg.)

    My ISA Brown pullets are 16 weeks old. When can I expect them to start laying?

    My small flock of 4 ISA Brown pullets just turned 16 weeks old today! Does anyone know when I can expect them to start laying eggs? One of them squats when I pick her up, if that means anything. Thanks for any help!
