Hey all,
First off the ducklings are all doing great! The ones in the pen are LOVING the grass and area to run around in. The other little ones are eating like crazy and growing so fast!
Now to my question: When do I need to convert the big guys to a different feed?
They are still on chick...
I'm interested in buying newborn ducklings, any sex. I live in Miami, Florida. My mama duck is very depressed, won't eat. Lost 12 ducklings. Not one hatched. Yesterday, 07-08-2018 it's been 41 days. She's kicked out 4 today. PLEASE, she's my favorite baby. I have to see if she accepts these...
Hello
I have a baby muscovy, that I rescued like a month ago, (so I guess it's about/a month and a half old)
Problem is, he's alone, and whenever I have to leave him, he just panicks peeps really loud but then eventually accepts that I'll eventually come back later
This was fine until now...
Ok so I have 2 scovy ducklings due to hatch in a few days and was wondering if I could feed them just food like grass, veggies, fruit, worms etc. But they will need to be getting everything they need protein, calcium, niacin so they don't get angel wing, etc…
So I was wondering if anyone knows...
Okay so I'll try this again. About 12 days ago I found a muscovy duck egg all alone. It was kind of cold, so I wrapped it in cloth and held it in my hand all day, trying not to move it too much and trying to keep it warm until I could figure out what to do with it. I candled it, but couldn't see...
Hi everyone, I have decided to take on a spring/summer project with my 10 year old daughter and we are trying to hatch some muscovy eggs.

My duck Pallas has just had its first egg yesterday, however she didnt have one this morning? is this normal? (i saw others saying they get one everyday). also if i leave the eggs (unsure if fertilised) in the coop will they rot? it is hot in australia. thankyou :)
I read the assisted hatch page in its entirety four times. After my rescued Muscovy internally pipped, we waited 24 hours before assisting by making an external pip.
I then waited, per the instructions turns, 12 hours (no activity) before creating the zip line and opening the air pocket. After...
A week ago, I walked outside into the yard to notice that there were several eggshells scattered throughout the backyard. As I got closer, I could smell something that made my stomach turn, and I knew what I was going to see before I saw it. Broken eggs with fetuses, almost fully-developed...
Needing to know any information about hatching shipped Muscovy Duck eggs in an incubator. Even unsuccessful hatch-rates and their possible theories. Obviously successful hatching advice would be much appreciated. Any small detail will make a huge difference. Humidity, temperature, days you...
Hello! I had recently posted about my khaki Campbell and Muscovy mating. I hadn’t seen any eggs from my khaki female for a while but stumbled upon a large stash today. There are two eggs with areas that look dark inside. Could these be fertilized eggs with baby ducks? This is my first year with...
Hello all I am new to the site. Figured I would tell my luck on raising ducks.
About three years ago, my wife and I got 2 Peking ducks to raise (she has raised ducks prior, me never). We had a success with them and let them free range in our backyard, one night something dug under the...
This beginner here has another question. Currently I have a pen set uo around my duck and ducklings nest so they can't get out. On accident mama has taken them out now three times in the pond and exploring in it. Is tho safe? I've leared that you have to keep them in the pen for their first week...
