LOCATED IN NEWARK OHIO.
Looking for a free range home for our 2 year old Easter Egger Rooster. He is quite good at protecting his flock, also good with fertilization, but he can be mean towards people. He would be no cost, just hoping to give him a second chance to be a protector vs. soup pot.
Mostly decided to join the blog to see about rehoming a couple of roosters. I’d keep them if I could but don’t think it’d be feasible. I had chickens growing up but this is my first flock on my own. We started with 6 and 2 ended up being roosters.
I’ll probably stick around for any future...
Hi there, I need to rehome 4 hens, a barred Plymouth Rock, a white Plymouth Rock, a Wyandotte and a Golden sex link. They were born June 8, 2020. I live in the Manhattan beach area. Can anyone give me advice about this? Thanks!
Hi everyone! We have a roo that is in search of his forever home.
We have too many roosters. He is a little shy of 3 months old. He is an Ameraucana (hen) and lavender Orpington (rooster) mix and is beautiful! His tail is the iridescent green/blue!

Need to sell roosters. The moss eggers can be used for meat at 18-19 weeks. 2 have rose combs, 1 has a straight comb. All are white. Isbar is a little guy, beautiful splash.
All came from breeder, not hatchery.
He was hatched late June, he's half easter egger and half saipan junglefowl, very friendly and protective of his siblings, would make a good guard rooster. His father (saipan) is an excellent rooster--an absolute gentleman to his ladies, friendly to humans, gets along with other roos, and...

I just found out via DNA testing that one of my chicks, the blue/grey Cochin baby, is a Roo. He is a beauty, docile, fluffy, and did I say beautiful?

Hello! 👋🏽 I have an 8-week old Jubilee orpington that has turned out to be a roo (he started crowing this morning!) Unfortunately, I can't keep him so I need to find a good home for him.
I purchased him from a local sustainable farm that raises heritage chickens, and I've been feeding him...
Hey guys! I need to rehome my bantam OEGB named Smokey. This is hard for me because he's so sweet and follows me around all day. I'm having to rehome my roosters because they're starting to fight with each other.
We have been feeding him organic feed and letting him free range. He would be a...

With a heavy heart, I'm looking to rehome my duckies to someone who could add them to their flock! We are moving soon and our new place will not have space for them.
I have two males and one female. Usually, that ratio is super not ideal, but they've done well together. 😊 I'd love for them to...

I have a chicken who is about 2 years old, she is crossed-beaked. She is very used to human interaction and is very easy to care for. For food all she needs is a soft food mixture such as Yogurt, Whipped cream, Hummus, Apple Sauce, and regular chicken food that is mixed with water or apple...
