Someone gifted hubby with new chicks for our coop that they couldn't keep 5 I know are brahmas, but three I am not certain of? I have attatched pics of the little fluffballs. Also, not entire sure of the age. Any help appreciated!
Last September hubby picked up new chicks from Tractor Supply, but he doesn't remember what they were listed as, only that they were female. I've attatched a few pics-I'm going back and forth between australorps and marans (they had both).
Can anyone help identify the breed of the brown chick with black on its wings? I believe the last pic is a wynodotte? But unsure what kind. Then lastly curious if anyone can tell if the wynodotte and Cochin are Roos or pullers?
Alright guys it’s that time of year again! So I bought a bunch of chicks from Tractor Supply’s bantam assortment. I have been able to figure out what all the other breeds are except for these 2.
The grey, white, and yellow one is extremely tiny and has feathered feet.
The second one is...
Looking at some chicken breeds and saw one called a Cream Legbar. I then remembered Cin has a Plymouth Rock hen that looks like she's constantly angry because her head feathers are always up. Cream Legbar has the same thing going on. Could she be a mix of the two, or is she just an angry birb?
hello everybody! I just hatched 14 chicks Tuesday 12/4 and Wednesday 12/5. I have all different colors and breeds from someone I found on Craigslist. I sent pics and asked her what she thought they might be but she didn’t seem too sure about some. I know what color egg most of them came out of...
What breed/s do you think these hens are?
They were born in spring. So they should be between 6-8 months old.
They are very friendly.
They lay only brown eggs.
The two brown eggs collected today are 66 & 69 grams.
Thank you!
We have some mystery chicks acquired the same day and place as our turkens. The only thing we know about them is that they are females. Pics are from last month and today. They are almost 3 months old.
Hello everyone! New to this site but have been reading for a little bit since I have gotten my chickens . I have 3 juvenile chickens that I got for free from someomenmy boyfriend worked with. Not too sure on the breed I'm thinking australorp but they have some white feathers near their tails so...
Hey. I was wondering if you guys knew what breed of chickens these are. I bought them from the rare assortment at My Pet Chicken. They are all supposed to be female but only time will truly tell. They are also currently 7 weeks old.
I was wondering if anyone could identify which breed this chicken is. I can't find any breeds that have her coloring, but she does have green feet so I was wondering if maybe she was an easter egger? She is now 2.5 months old. Please let me know your thoughts!
edit: I don't know if it means...
I have had her for a few months, got her at a small animal auction. I don't know how old she is. She lays a brown egg, bigger than my other layers. Any help is appreciated.
This is Wheat. I've been told she's a kelso game hen but I'm not entirely convinced. She is extremely flight and is aggressive when she's broody. She goes broody maybe 3-6 times a year. She lays white eggs if that helps.
We got this hen we call Margaery about 9 months ago and we've started breeding her. She kicks out really strong chicks. We guess she's about 2 years old.
She looks like a hybrid of some sort, but I'm not sure what. Maybe Leghorn cross, or Orpington? She has light blueish feet and a few of her...
Basically all of my chickens we're random. They are all almost one year old. I'm just gonna put up pics of the ones I am not sure about and hopefully you can help!
