hahaha

Unfortunately Admin is unlimited, and honestly, I wish I could limit mine to 5! I'm now getting a ton from a bunch of people, "How do I help my chicken...." and "Is my chicken a boy or girl if...." etc. etc. etc.

Listen people... we've got a forum for all your chicken questions. POST IN THE FORUM NOT IN PM! <Especially MY pm!>

Seriously though, I hope this doesn't become a problem where impatient members start blasting PMs to members when they want help instead of posting in the forum.

Thank you! Again, thank you for Private Messaging! I can't wait (I guess I have to) 'till I get meself some feathered beauties next Spring. My lists of wants keeps changing! Too many colors/varieties/breeds. Tons of fun trying to choose, though!

I just tried to send my very first message and was told that I had to wait for 60 seconds between sending - it was my first one! Did it go?

Ok, I went into my Messages section and saw that it didn't. So, from there, I was able to send the message.

The way I tried to initiate the message at first was I clicked on the PM button beneath the name and avatar of a member in a subforum. There I couldn't seem to send the message, it gave me the 60 second error, but from my message area I could. Strange.

If someone sends us an ugly message and we delete it and want to block them from sending us anymore, how do we block them from sending us any more?

If someone sends you an ugly PM, copy and paste it into an new private message with the sender's name and send it to one of the mods for review. We won't tolerate that behavior here, even in PMs.

So PM's are not really private, they are subject to same g rating that rest of forum is.

I think they are private until you point out one that is offensive!

Yes they are private, but if someone has a complaint about being harrassed via PM, then we take it as seriously as the emails we get forwarded to us and threads that are reported. We don't go into your PMs. We act upon reported PMs which are sent by the one reporting it.
