That's exactly how my mother is.

At first they agreed with it, then they both suddenly wouldn't let me.

But like I said earlier to Duck4, I'll probably be able to lease a horse because of this because it'll give me something to look forward to after school.

Close call: I heard my mom get off the bed and start walking down the hallway, but luckily managed to get the comp closed by the time she exploded in on my room. All is safe.

The horse part, of course. My dad agrees with me, but my mom doesn't get that it's not her doing the teaching... I have to talk to her.

I'm thinking that if I homeschool, it'd eventually give me greater chance of getting a horse of my own (time, experience, etc), but the downside is that my parents would be sick of schemes for a while.

Nothing can work, can it?
