Scape shook out her coat and yawned, arching her back and flicking her tail.

Sunpaw returned to camp with her crow from earlier, a sparrow, and two mice. Good hunt she thought as she dropped her kill on the pile. She layed down at the edge of the clearing and basked in the sun.

 

[Gerbil]

"A rather, mrrrm, dreary afternoon, don't you think?" Jaggedpaw grumbled drearily, plopping lazily down about a foot from Sunpaw.

"Just is" he replied dejectedly, blinking his doleful blue eyes slowly.

"Fix? How or why would I even try?" he asked, cocking one of his tawny eye brows. (Sure, but I only have a lil bit of time)

"Because, why bother? I will just run myself ragged trying and tomorrow will come before I finish and the horrible cycle will restart. I will have accomplished nothing more than giving myself a case of the flu or a broken leg" he replied gloomily.
