~Hawkclaw flicked his tail as a thought creeped up on him and he turned to Willowstar. "We can't give these to her until she wakes up," he mewed suddenly and backed away. Willowstar needs herbs too, he abruptly realized as he saw Willowstar's paind look and quivering legs. Hawkclaw politely slid some catmint and thyme over to his exhausted leader and asks the obvious question: "So, Willowstar, what in the name of StarClan happened to you two?"~

Willowstar takes a shaky breath "I was out hunting when I started hearing Ashstripe call for help, she was to the far end of the territory near Pineclan where there are deep and dangerous bogs and I found her sinking into one of them. I of course pulled her out but it was a tiring and exhausting work and I think both of us need to take a break" she tells him tiredly before she eats the herbs up quickly

He faltered. "- that's amazing!You're amazing to have saved a cat's life single-pawedly!" He gazes at his magestic leader with the utmost awe and respect for a second before hurrying on, "Do you have any idea why Ashstripe went alone? She usually always takes a warrior with her to the bogs..."~

~Hawkclaw dipped his head in agreement. "I think I'll just leave that question unasked to her- no reason to indulge in her own private life." He glanced fondly over at the sleeping Ashstripe, who's breathing seemed to be getting stronger- which signaled she could arouse at any moment.
"Would you like me to get you something from the fresh-kill pile? You are going to stay right here," he added firmly as he saw Willowstar's mouth begin to twitch in protest.~

Willowstar let out a defeated sigh before she chuckles slightly "Well since you're the leader now," she said playfully "I guess I could use a good fish" she says as she makes herself comfortable in a nest already made in the medicine den.

Willowstar had to cover her muzzle to cover her giggles at Hawkclaw's ridiculous display. She then extended her paw and grabbed it gently from Hawkclaw and pretended to give it a killing bite "I have killed the immortal trout!" She declared jokingly.

~Hawkclaw rolls onto his back and guffaws with erupting hilarity. His paws flail wildly and accidentally nudge Ashstripe. He freezes and eyes her cautiously. Suddenly her jaws gape wide in a massive yawn and her striking green eyes unveil. "What happened?" she asks thickly, her muzzle barely moving.~

~Ashstripe forces a grin. "I won't, Willowstar." She lays down on the edge of the marsh and flicks some of the algae off her pelt diffidently. I just made a complete fool of myself and then, MY LEADER had to save me! she thought miserably. What kind of Medicine Cat does that make ME if I am the one needing to be saved?! She stubbornly persisted to get up and finally she clumsily tripped after Willowstar.~

(WaterfallClan)~ "Catmint and poppy seeds and thyme. Catmint and poppy seeds and thyme," Ashstripe weakly droned on in a monotone for the hundredth time since she had been freed by Willowstar from the guile bogs. Willowstar was just veering around the waterfall that lead into WaterfallClan camp, and Ashstripe tripped along weakly maybe ten fox-lengths behind. Secretly, Ashstripe believed it a miracle from StarClan that her massively-drained strength had gotten her even this far. "Catmint and poppy seeds and thyme." For soothing, sleep and to dull this throbbing in my head, and thyme again to help me calm down, she explained to herself inwardly as her paws carried her along the very worn trail behind the waterfall. Two blurred shapes came racing toward her as she lurched on her paws that she finally recognized as Hawkclaw and Willowstar as her infirm legs finally gave way. As her head hit the solid stone floor and lolled limply between her paws, she enumerated the list one last time- "Catmint and poppy seeds and thyme- before her whole world spun away into a void of silent darkness.~

~Ashstripe stared at the unidentifiable blur that portrayed the scent of Hawkclaw. Somewhere in het den, she could scent Willowstar as well, even though her gluey eyes didn't seem to want to awake. Her mind vibrated as the intense buzzing vibrations returned with consciousness. Her joints ached with a passion and her whole pelt felt like a mud puddle. Ashstripe, you have seen better days!~

Willowstar laughs along with Hawkclaw but she quickly stops when Ashstripe suddenly awakens "Oh Ashstripe you're awake, you had collapsed and hit your head pretty hard so Hawkclaw here had dragged you into here."
