Shadepaw glared at the ground but he seemed to have calmed down a bit "Hazelpaw...promise to keep your word, no matter what that'll you'll come back to Cloudclan safe and sound" he mumbles quietly, a bit embarrassed by showing that he was concerned (See he's not a bad cat, he's just no good at showing how he feels, he cares for all the cats in his clan...he just doesn't quite know how to show it as he believes negatively will encourage his clan mates to try to be as strong as they can be)

Snowpaw nuzzled Hazelpaw.She scored a claw next to Hazelpaw's,"I promise, with my life I will protect her."she murmured."And Hazelpaw.Be careful.Use your skill well,"she whispered to her.

~Hazelpaw let out a surprised purr at Shadepaw's concern and butted her cheek into his flank. "I promise, you worrywart furball." Her ears twitched in farewell to the cat that she had formerly regarded and now seemed to be counting again as a friend. "Stay strong, Shadepaw. Be the warrior I know you'll soon become."~

~Hazelpaw turned to her close friend, emotion threatening to spill out and pour down her face. For a moment, she couldn't utter a single word. Then she buried her face into Snowpaw's neck. "I'll miss you," she murmured as quietly as possible. "Snowpaw, be the best warrior you can be when the time comes. Always keep your amazing kindness and consideration. And, most of all, keep everyone in line." She winked at her friend in spite of herself. "Like I'm still there."~

Shadepaw gave a content sigh at her answer She'll miss her own warrior ceremony, it should have been at the most in a moon from now, it would have probably been with Sootpaw's, Lightpaw's, Mousepaw's, and myself's ceremony since we are so close in age he thought with a pang of guilt and sadness "Good bye Hazelpaw, may the stars lead you safely to your destination and back to us unharmed" he tells her with a dip of his head and then he turned around, he didn't want to get all mushy and emotional.

~Hazelpaw watched him pad away and turned to Sootpaw last. "Keep on running," she whispered, now just barely managing not to burst out sobbing. "No matter what any cat tells you." With that, she spun on her heels and darted away to join the other Prophecized apprentices before she could give her mind a chance to debate against her heart.
Don't turn around.
Don't look back.
