Nightflower licked the little kits head, and smiled, trying to not show her anger,"Quite fine, my dear"she lied.She was truly lying.

Cloudfur was stalking herbs behind Canopykit, and shook her head slowly at Nightflower before returning to her job.

Canopykit tilted her head "Are you sure, I could have sworn I saw the moon get covered by clouds" she says a bit noisily, she could tell she wasn't telling the truth.

Canopykit sighs "I can't want until I'm big enough to go but I'll probably be stuck in the medicine den for a few more days before I can even think about limping to the nursery which stinks because I wanted to maybe befriend Ravenkit"

Canopykit frowns slightly in concern "Ravenkit what's wrong?" She asks kindly, she didn't want to upset her further by asking so she seemed a bit nervous when she did.

Canopykit wanted to get up and comfort Ravenkit but she was stuck in the nest, Cloudfur had told her that even if her paw and ankle healed the best it could it would most likely always be twisted a little to much to the left but Canopykit and Cloudfur have kept her injury's long lasting effects hidden from her clanmates at Canopykit's wish because she didn't want to worry anyone with it.

Cloudfur looked at Ravenkit,"There isn't a herb for grieving"she murmured,"But I can at least help her"she went to the back to find some Poppy Seeds and Tyme.

Canopykit looks over at Cloudfur as she went to grab the herbs "Maybe give her honey with the herbs to sweeten them and make them go down better" she offers thoughtfully. She then turns her attention to Ravenkit "I know it's hard but you'll be strong enough to pull through this" Canopykit tells her with a confident smile.

Ravenkit glumly Te the herbs and smiled sadly at Canopykit, lying down in the nest next to her.She licked Canopykits ears and fell asleep almost Instently.
