Crowpaw plunged into the water, finding a fresh water clamp and slashed it on a rock before surfecing.

~Ashstripe fled out of camp as Crowpaw bolted away. She came to the stream where Crowpaw is and waited patiently for him to surface- secretly she just had to keep an eye on the grief-stricken apprentice. He might do something stupid or rash in his crazed state...~

Crowpaw smashed the water.He then saw Ashstripe.He pulled himself out of the water panting, his blue eyes like ice fire.He shook her pelt and he suddnely looked like a kit that lost his mother as she shrunk Down."I don't know what to do, Ashstripe,"He wailed quietly.

~Ashstripe gave him a long and slow lick, contemplating a right answer. She then finally decided on: "Crowpaw," she meowed gently, her voice as soft as a queens', brushing his sodden pelt dry with her tail, "it was her time. And there's no reason to blame yourself. It'll never get better if you let a minor aiding pawstep in a wrong direction get you completely lost."~

~Hawkclaw pulled himself up into camp, his joints aching from an accidental fall onto a rock. He winced as his scar gave a sharp pain at the same time and limped over to the medicine cat den. It was empty. Hawkclaw plodded into the middle of camp, curious, and saw Lilypaw. Terror shot through him. "What happened?" he cried, racing up to them. Ashstripe gave him a blank look and Hawkclaw looked down at the prostrate apprentice. Her eyes were wide open and stared at nothing.....
She's dead.~

Crowpaw plunged into the water, finding a fresh water clamp and slashed it on a rock before surfecing.

It was empty. Hawkclaw plodded into the middle of camp, curious, and saw Lilypaw. Terror shot through him. "What happened?" he cried, racing up to them. Ashstripe gave him a blank look and Hawkclaw looked down at the prostrate apprentice. Her eyes were wide open and stared at nothing.....

Crowpaw stared at the pale body of the cat he loved.His eyes stared wide, his breath quickened and his heart beat like a lion roaring or thunder.He felt scared, small, and He crouched on the ground over Lilypaws gray body, asif something was going to get her, even if she was dead.He felt like he didnt belong, as If he didnt know this cats.
