~«Survival By War»~ (Warrior cat rp)

Snakepaw huffed and swiped a quick paw over his ears, smoothing any fur Silverkit might have disrupted with her strikes. "You have to be more fluid, you were unsure and stumbled. Also when moving back, add a sidestep so you can aim for another attack on your opponents side, you wanna keep a flow." He instructed, glancing at the sun to keep check on the time.
Silverkit snickered as he smoothed his fur, and nodded at his words. "Right." She realized she had a advantage while he was to busy checking the time. She dashed forward, halting and in a fluid motion, rising onto her hind paws. She rained blows to his ears and head with sheathed paws. She staggered when she stepped back, tripping. But she rolled quickly, scrambling to her feet and, probably a little to hard, pelted forward and slammed all of her body weight against Snakepaw's side. I probably could have done better with that.

Snakepaw hissed in surprise at Silverkit's bold attack. He tried to attack her back but she was already barreling into his side, winding him slightly as he stumbled sideways. Snakepaw swiftly regained his footing and whipped his head around to grab her by the scuff before he kinda roughly pulled Silverkit away from his more open side. "That was slick, you caught me off guard pretty nicely."

Silverkit squealed when he caught her scruff, dragging her away from his side. She pulled away, shaking her pelt again. She looked at him, and smiled. "Thanks, Snakepaw!" She meowed. Maybe he's not so bad after all!

Snakepaw shrugged "Don't thank me yet, you got a lot to learn." He then noted the sun's position again "There's a Warrior's ceremony today and we have to get you back before anyone really notices your gone... I'll tell you how to take down your siblings on the way back, that'll be something to put to use for you." He decides nonchalantly as he moves to leave the little grove of willow trees.

Silverkit sighed, but followed him anyway. "Who's ceremony is it? I bet it's Sagepaw's, she's practically a warrior now!" She trotted alongside him, occasionally her gaze flickering away to glance at a leaf blowing in the wind or a tussock of grass whistling softly.

Snakepaw shook his head in response "Nope, I don't think she's had her assessment yet and she has a lot to make up for, probably has another moon of training. The ceremony is for Gingerpaw, Brokenpaw, and Rabbitpaw which means free space for when you and your siblings move in, you'll probably get their nests." He explained as he slipped into tall reeds as he thought he scented a Dawn patrol nearby, the plants would cover their scent and the plants natural swaying movement would make it so they could travel quietly through them

Needlepaw head didn't become unburied from Dogfang's still fur and his shaky muffled voice could be heard faintly. "He wasn't a bad cat, he just felt distant from other cats... and he was brash, but he didn't deserve this!"

Leopardmoon sighed as she stood up, the usually kept together deputy had tears still dropping slowly from her eyes. She felt guilt at leaving Flamepaw and Ivypaw with Doveheart's body, it was cold to ask Flamepaw to carry her back. She glanced down at Needlepaw, was she going to have to ask him to carry his dead littermate as well. "Barkpaw... can you help Needlepaw carry him back home? We should catch up with the other remaining apprentices." She asked softly but at her words Neetlepaw simply rose to his paws and grabbed his brother by the scuff, he moved away from Barkpaw which sent the clear message that he wanted to carry him alone.
Leopardmoon saw shining flashes of peaking sunlight through the base of the tall trees as Pineclan moved slowly through their territory, dawn was approaching slowly and they had finally made it out of the tunnels. She still carried Doveheart dutifully and beside her Needlepaw had gave in and was carrying Dogfang with Barkpaw. The rest of the remaining apprentices had huddled around her as well and Leopardmoon watched the young cats with pride and sadness as they walked with heavy paws. Rainstar was leading the clan back, Leopardmoon thought she seemed unfazed by how dead the air felt and how sticky everyone's pelt was with drying blood and the tired deputy had to make sure she didn't curl her lip at the horrible leader.
Barkpaw.

Silverkit stifled a squeal as she tripped over a reed, trying to keep as silent as possible. "If we are ever made apprentices." She huffed quietly, trotting at him side.

Snakepaw shrugged "If we're finally doing ceremonies again, I'm sure yours will be soon." He replied in a whisper, his ears perked as he paused to listen for cats and when he heard none, he weaved them back out of the reeds.
