«We Could be Heroes»

Tayn glanced at the people around her Gage was near the back of the line stuffing a chicken into his pocket. Tayn frowed at him quizically, but noticed that his cheeks were tear stained. He must not be taking this too well she thought.
(One post in as the buzzer rings. *slow clap*)
 
(You should ask for a refund. No wonder you keep having shopping dreams.)
(Make a fuss means draw attention to yourself, cry, shout, kick, or do anything generally disorderly.)
(This is seriously the best thing I have ever heard.)
(See? I should have easily understood that. I wish for a refund on my brain.)
 
"Come on! Hurry!" He said, and began to run.
Crow followed him, making sure Noel was too. I really hope this isn't a trap. Grrr, I wish I had a more useful power... or at least a weapon.
"It was an accident," Aubrey informed Sammy.
Sammy looked at her quizzically and couldn't stop a question from pouring out. "What was an accident?"
 
As the cop pushed Gage along, they TURNED THE CORNER and filed into a narrow hall. Pictures of normals on horseback hung everywhere with eyes that seemed to follow them.

~Ash, continuing with her eyes and ears sealed tightly out from this world of unreal deja vu from her fourteenth year, rammed straight into an unforgiving cement wall as the hallway met up with another in a fork and veered toward the middle. Now even more disoriented, she made a huge effort to stay standing and continued the hike along walls... and more walls... and more horribly confining walls.~
