Thirsty Thursday: they had just come out of their run, with a clean automatic waterer, to the yard with water that's been sitting for several days. Five of the eight bigs swarmed it as though they were about to die of dehydration.

My Cream Legbars are Felicitas and Agathae. Agathae says a fancy name like that is the only names Legbars should have.

They are rather elegant birds

Any thoughts on themes or tried X but it doesn't quite fit?

Tried a few themes and ideas. Food names didn't work, couldn't think of sleep related names, and I don't want to call them Leggy and Beggy

Just a lot of squawking not physical fighting, right? Are you sure they aren’t all actually singing the praises of Cluckingham Court?
There’s lots of calling and noise here when I come out, but I think they’re just very excited. Arguments tend to be low squeals, not very loud.

There’s lots of calling and noise here when I come out, but I think they’re just very excited. Arguments tend to be low squeals, not very loud.

No fighting, just a bunch of hens yelling at each other, and the roosters start Bok Bokking too.

It’s more mud for me, but also chicken and horse poop flicking up and getting into the heel portion. I have those low back ones, I wear them around the garden at the house.

It’s really a serious topic though, proper footwear. I like the rubber soles and shoes/boots as they are easy to clean and disinfect. My tall rubber boots get a good scrubbing as needed with a disinfectant like pine soil or dettol. I prefer Dettol. The sloggers get cleaned weekly. I never wear them anywhere but the barn - MY barn.

If I go to someone else’s place I wear clothes I will never wear to my barn.
