I made 4 different ears. Are any of them exactly perfect? No. Does the viewer understand that they're ears? Yeah. Are there any that work better with the drawing it's attached to? Sure.
Would I use that same ear in every drawing because it looked best in this instance? No. Or at least not anymore. I used to only ever draw my ears like #2. No matter how they looked. Just because that was my idea of what an ear looked like. And I needed to make it "perfect" Now I realize that it depends on the drawing what kind of technique I need to use.
Same with RPing. Depending on what kind of posts you're replying to, or if you're not replying and just writing on your own, it's going to be different. To you it might not be what you like or prefer, but it comes out looking better for having been simplified, or more detailed, depending on what's actually needed.
Learning what's needed and when, it takes time. It takes practice, and it takes messing up. Looking back and seeing where the mistakes were, shows that you have improved. You're able to recognize now some of the areas where it could have been done differently. And that affects how you are writing now.

"Guys." River said, glaring at them. "You mind tell each other how much you hate each other later?"
I was looking at old posts, and these are great. XDchickenlady25XD said:
"HI, I Came!" Ella said walking behind the crowd "You can't stop me from WALKING River!" She said not noticing what was going on.
Fritz set her on fire.
oh yes Grace get ready there's a lil' ball of pure innocently scared-boi OCD coming at ya
OH YOU ALSO SHUT UP, YOU'RE ALSO GREAT
Thanks, guys XDI'm gonna complain about all you all complaining. You're better at it than you think. You dont notice that you've gotten better because you're aware of the fact it can still be improved, but with any kind of art writing included, there is always room for improvement. But it is the flaws in your work that makes the style your own. It makes it special and unique. Something you think is awful could be the best part to someone else.
So
Be happy with what you've made flaws and all, continue improving and be happy with what you think are your failures. They're just part of the learning process.
