«We Could Be Legends»

She didn't know where It can from, or what happened. In a matter of seconds, talons where sinking into her flesh, feathers blinding her. Mapleshade let out a screech of agony, lashing out blindly with the knife. She dashed forward, getting away from the attack for a heartbeat."Stop!"She shrieked, throwing her arms over her face, blood spattering against the walls and ground.
Zion made sure to avoid the knife, he kept ripping apart her face as fast as he could, he screeched an ear piercing eagle screech to disorient Mapleshade. Her screams of agony sent waves of guilt through him, but then it hit him. This woman has caused so much suffering to my friends, she deserves this. He then realized another thing, I bet this is how Mom was able to kill so many people! They actually deserved it...

He then realized another thing, I bet this is how Mom was able to kill so many people! They actually deserved it...
Mapleshade ripped away from him."Stop! Please stop!"She screeched, blindly stabbing the air with the knife.

Bleddyn was trembling beneath her skin in rage. Her wounded, worn friends blurred before her as she fought against the curtains of simmering fury that were threatening to close her out from sanity. The deadly blade at her throat had no subductive effect on her- no, she wasn't about to calm to complacency in the face of death. She'd warred with it all before and she'd come out on top. Her hands itched to be free of Mapleshade's cold grasp, but the deranged furry had Bleddyn by the most vulnerable part of her wrists. She knows what she's doing, Bleddyn mentally granted her, sick with loathing. But to use it on me?
How dare she. How dare she. HOW DARE SHE.

"What a coward," she interjected angerly into their emotionally loaded exchange. "You had to sneak up behind me to get me like this. You couldn't even face me." Her face reddened to a new furious shade every time Mapleshade tightened her vice grip. She couldn't see her captor's face and she was sure that was to Mapleshade's advantage. If I was facing you, you'd have no face left to speak of. "What the heck is your problem, lady? What do you care about a teenage boy's romantic interests? Some sort of pedophile or what?!"
Even in her furor-befogged state, it was obvious to Bleddyn that Wolfram wasn't about to oblige Mapleshade's crazed demands- and he probably couldn't have, even if he'd wanted to. The damage she'd inflicted on his head was steadily hacking away at his persistence to remain conscious.
"It seems like you can't let go of something that's long irreversible. Kill me if you want, but you won't get anything from him. We mean nothing to each other."
Mapleshade let out a soft chuckle, her grip on Bleddyn's wrist's becoming tighter."I only want to get what I want. It isn't that complex, really. You just have to know the person you're trying to get information from. Lucky for me, I was watching the fight in the park, and I saw Wolfram's reaction to you getting injured." She hissed, digging her claw like nails into Bleddyn's skin."Think that if you want, but if you knew what Wolfram was thinking you would be surprised." She looked down to Wolfram, who was struggling to stay conscious."If you don't give me the key in...five minute's, I will kill her."

Wolfram whimpered softly, sleep clawing at his mind, trying to drag him under. I need a plan, I need a plan...I need a plan. "If you're so keen on hurting me, why don't you just kill me?" He hissed, clenching his teeth to stop the feeling of being hit in the skull repeatedly."At least it'd end my suffering."

"That would be easy, wouldn't it? To easy."Mapleshade growled."And then I wouldn't get the key."

"Fine!"Wolfram summoned his remaining strength to force himself to his feet, leaning against the wall."If you want the key so bad, then I'll give it to you." Thank you my half conscious brain for given me the only plan I could think of. He could see the grin cross Mapleshade's face, her eye's never leaving him for a second."It's in mom's apartment, Ok? It's in the old cabinet in the basement."

A satisfactory smirk crossed Mapleshade's face, her cackle of triumph echoing painfully in the small area."Finally! See what happen's when you break him enough?"She hissed. She pulled her hand away from Bleddyn's throat, and shoved her as hard as possible in Wolfram's direction."If you have lied to me, you'll regret it."
"Oh? It's not a good enough excuse?" Misty lowered her voice and coldly into Toby's eyes, "then I guess being psychopathic which I'll say is a literal mental disorder, and a ruthless murderer isn't a good enough excuse either?" She asked. Memories danced around in her mind from the past, the time when she was 17. Every single person she killed haunted her. The look of terror, hatred, courage, all of it. She knew they wouldn't win, but they thought they had a chance against her. Well, they didn't, and now she has to live with the face of every single person she killed in her mind. But because she killed all those people, she saved so many hundreds of thousands from being killed.
Words echoed in her mind from her former best friend Grant
"Misty, sometimes, you have to make things worse to make them better, y'know?"
(I have no freaking clue where I am going with this but screw it)
Zion looked at Toby but ignored him and turned to his mom.

Misty growled at Rivers call and ran over to Zion and Delilah. She gently picked up her daughter and held her in her arms. "Zion go help Lachlan Blenddyn and Wolfram, you were with them. Now go be with them, I can take care of your sister."

Zion shyly nodded and turned to run over to them but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. He turned back and saw his mother staring softly into his eyes, "Zion be courageous," she murmured. Then placed a kiss on his forehead, turned him around and shoved him towards Lachlan and the others.
Zion sprinted over to the others, they were all incredibly wounded. It was at times like these where he wished that he had multitasking powers like his mother. He watched them for a moment and decided he had a plan. He shifted into his eagle form and hid behind some walls, his smaller skin would be less noticeable but he still had to be stealthy. He silently flew around the area where the entire battle was going on and landed a few feet behind Mapleshade. If things got worse he would strike. His heart pounded in terror but his mother's words echoed through his mind, "Zion, be courageous," and he decided right then and there that he would be. He was going to do something for one in his life besides hide.
Zion took a deep breath and jumped up into the air and swooped down onto Mapleshades head, he clawed at her exposed face and batted her head with his powerful wings. The feeling of his talons sinking into her flesh and ripping out was all too surreal, it made him sick to his stomach but he didn't want to see his friends die. The majority of them were all so wounded and he was the only one who wasn't. So he was finally taking a stand, he was being courageous.
Chunks of muscle and blood splattered everywhere, his wings were aching from beating them against Mapleshade but he still continued to do so. He had to do something, especially to make up for Delilah attacking Wolfram at the Pancake house.
Zion shut his eyes and continued to attack Mapleshade, his legs and wings screamed in agony but he had a feeling that Mapleshade was in even more agony then he was. Blood dripped down his talons and sprayed onto his feathers making them sticky, he hated the feeling but he had to do this.
For everyone, he thought to himself
(hope you're ok with this Clucky :D)

Lachlan watched the events with interest, flicking his eyes over Bleddyn as she stumbled forward. "You seem to be an attractant of Mapleshade wanting to kill you. You okay?" He said, and glanced at Wolfram. "I need to get you two out of here, now. You're both hurt, bad." He moved closer to Wolfram, offering himself to be used for Wolfram to lean against as they walk. "Bleddyn, can you walk?" He cast his eyes around. "Great, looks like Toby's hurt too." He murmured, looking back to Wolfram and Bleddyn, reaching up subconsciously and clutched his side as pain ripped through him.

Bleddyn stumbled into Wolfram, completely unbalanced by her abrupt release. She gradually peeled herself off of him, hands up apologetically, and pressed herself against the wall beside him to watch the gory show Zion was putting on for them. "You really, really didn't have to do that," she hissed hotly, wringing her hands in an attempt to rid them of the continuous and unearthly sensation of gripping claws. "And please tell me you weren't honest."

Wolfram was overly shocked by Bleddyn falling against him. He tensed, grabbing the wall to hold himself steady."You're fine."He murmured quietly. He had to admit, deep down, he didn't want her to pull away. But that thought vanished as a migraine continually rammed at his skull. He looked at her, blinking for a second to focus his quickly weakening vision on her."That was a one hundred percent lie. I don't know what or where the key is. I just wanted her to let you go."He told her softly, his eyes flickering from Mapleshade and Zion and back to Bleddyn."I knew if I kept up telling her I didn't know where it was she would've killed you. No doubt."

Bleddyn took a pace back so Lachlan could support Wolfram. "I'm fine, Lach," she muttered, still furiously rubbing at her wrists. "Just hot as a hornet."
She granted Wolfram a drifting glance, still miffed at having to accept that she'd needed rescuing. "Well, uh, okay, right then."
Maybe a tad bit of gratitude wouldn't hurt?
"Thanks. You won't have to do it again." Her voice was tight again, hurried as if there'd be consequence if she didn't get it all out brisk and heated enough.

River came up to Misty's side, having given up on trying to get Emily, Sherri, and Fritz to create some order in the battle. "Is Delilah stable?"

Wolfram looked at her, as if it took a minute for her words to registered."No...No problem. I'd uh...I'd do again in a heartbeat if I had to."A small smile tugged at his lips, and he suddenly turned away, groaning in pain. He put a hand on his forehead, thankful for Lachlan's support. A pain gripped his head, enough to make him want to black out. Actually he was sure he would black out. His vision blacked for a minute, but he still felt solid ground beneath his feet.

Lachlan rolled his eyes at Bleddyn. "Yeah, I'm sure your leg is suddenly fine after being stabbed. Seems they've patched you up though, so I guess you are fine." He turned to Wolfram. "We need to get out of here, before you pass out."

Toby dropped his gun and stumbled backwards into the wall. He saw something attacking Mapleshade, but his vision was too blurry to tell what it was. His head snapped up when he heard someone say his name. He looked around confused, but he didn't find who said it
