Brisa climbed out, flipping up the hood of her raincoat, and went to stand next to Jessi. "Very creepy. Um, how are we gonna get in?"
(This is gory intenseness....:O )
"I assume we just knock. If no one answers we break the door down." Jessi said.

Zion dodged the desperately thrown knife and shifted back into his human form and spread his wings out to shield the others from her. He glanced back at his friends and then looked at Mapleshade with a glimmer of compassion, he had just torn this woman's face to shreds, literally.
Colliding feelings whirled around in him, feelings of empathy and rage. He didnt know if what he did was right once he saw Mapleshade lying in her blood crying from her one eye
He felt like a monster
Blood pooled around her limp body. Warm, sticky liquid coating her skin, hair and clothes, and the concrete floor. Mapleshade's ragged breathing was the only noise in the now silent hall. She caught a glimpse of Zion shielding the rest of his pathetic friends. As if I can do anything, I can hardly see... "Just, shut up!"Wolfram snarled suddenly, glaring at her."You're making my head hurt worse then it already does, so shut up!"He turned away from her, guilt already worming into his chest. Now I feel really bad....Why did I yell at her? I'm such a jerk... It took way more energy out of him to yell then normal.... While he was drowning in his thoughts, he tripped over his own foot, falling onto his knees, his elbows hitting the ground to stop his head from slamming into the ground.
"Nope, you can't," Indigo said. She pulled his arm violently. "You have a bullet wound and I'm getting you out."
Toby looked at Lachlan, uncertainty in his eyes. He stumbled forward when Indigo tugged on his arm, and followed her down the hall. He had one hand on Alpha, keeping him from falling over.
Indigo dragged him into the subway tunnel, sparing no time for secrecy now. Her footsteps were quick and she didn't slow for his stumbling.
Lachlan opened his mouth to utter something about watching it, but snapped it closed as Wolfram fell. He held his hand out to him. "You okay?" He asked kindly.
Wolfram's chest heaved, taking in deep breaths in attempt to rid of the clawing darkness."No."He finally whispered, clenching a hand into a fist."I feel so useless and weak right now. I can't do this. I can't."
Lachlan sighed. Time to adult up, Lachlan. He crouched beside Wolfram, tentatively putting a hand on his shoulder. "Useless? Weak? I don't see where you are getting that from. That pathetic cat-lady Mapleshade? She an idiot. I don't think it was weak when you stood up to the Pure at the park, or stood up to Indigo, or useless when you quietly stole those keys, or weak when you fought Delilah and Bleddyn. The only weak thing you have done is think you are weak."
Wolfram flinched at Lachlan's touch. He realized who it was, and relaxed, though still tense."As if!"He hissed."My mother dying? That's my fault. Bleddyn getting injured? That's my fault. Mapleshade's insanity? I am the child of the person who caused her to act like a maniac."He clenched a hand into a fist."Those acts mean nothing. I'm weak because a break down whenever someone brings up anything about my past. I will never be as good as my mom. I don't deserve to be able to call her my mother."
"How is your mother dying your fault? You didn't kill her, you didn't ask for her death. Her death hurt you more than anyone. Bleddyn was not hurt by you, trust me, if we blamed it on you, you would know it. She's like my little sister. Did you ask to be your father's son? No. You had no choice over your parents, no one does. And how does those acts mean nothing? All of them mean something. That doesn't make you weak, it makes you broken. And that's okay, because if you weren't, you wouldn't be real, human, sane." Lachlan said calmly. "How do you know that? Everyone deserves awesome parents, but only some people get them. You and I lucked out. Even if she was taken, you still had her. She loved you. Do you think she thought she deserved to be gifted with a son who loved her?"
"If I hadn't stayed to argue with Lily, I would have been home before Mapleshade had time to kill her. "Wolfram whispered, his words drowned out by Lachlan still speaking."She deserved to have a child better then me. Someone who wasn't broken inside. I wouldn't be surprised if she was disappointed in me. She should be."He gripped onto consciousness like his life depended on it, not making a effort to move from that spoke."She deserved a son or daughter who doesn't hate themselves."
"Maybe, perhaps you could have saved Silver. But at what cost? Her having to live without a son? You having to live with being a killer?" Lachlan murmured. "Maybe she did, but maybe she wanted someone like you. Everyone hates themselves to some extant."
Zion screeched the entire time he kept attacking Mapleshade, his heart beat faster and faster then he wanted and he felt like he was going to pass out. Butterflies aroused in his stomach as the screams of Mapleshade echoed through his skull. This felt wrong... But at the same time, it felt, right? It felt right. The more he ripped apart her face the more he savored the moment, something inside him felt stronger than ever, something evil...
He screamed in eagle tongue and pushed his talons deeper into Mapleshades face. He felt his talons sink into something and he then felt it resist him. He pulled hard against it and as he did his heart dropped like a stone. He felt a ripping and then a sickening pluck as his talon ripped out whatever was resisting him and fell onto the ground.
He finally stopped attacking Mapleshade and soared over to the others, his legs and wings soaked with blood.
He stood in front of the others protectively as he stared crazily at the cat woman, her face now ragged, mangled and soaked in blood. Zion then looked upon the floor of the area where he attacked Mapleshade, and there he saw two slitted dark green cat eyes.
He opened his beak and stared in horror.
Wolfram lifted his head to look at Lachlan, his vision focusing slowly."At least she would have lived."He hissed."And maybe she would have found someone she loved, someone better then the-"His swear echoed through the hall, and he was surprised he had dared to utter such a word."-my father was!"He stopped speaking suddenly, his eyes narrowing, another wave of crashing pain grabbing his head.
(-9 braincells, no long answers from me)
Indigo shoved him into the seat.
The irritating cat girl Sherri was back.
"Hai," she waved a hand, looking relieved to have escaped but terrified too.
Emily attacked her with hugs and assaulted her with 'never do that agains'
"It's not over, mom," Sherri said.

Wolfram's father.
Michael looked up from Mapleshade's body, his masked eyes landing on a crumpled, sobbing figure behind Zion. He knew those blue, cat-like eyes anywhere."Kill him!" he snarled to a group of guards.
Wolfram twisted around, a painful ache shooting through his arm. He looked past Zion, a flare of fear flashing in his chest as he met the green eyes of his now unmasked father."Bleddyn!"He grabbed the wall, forcing himself to stand."Get away from him, Now!"His shrill cry of attempt to get her away from his father echoed painfully in his ears. He planted his feet firmly on the ground, a hand on the wall.Bleddyn paused her climb as a new volley of voices fired up into the hallway. She let her eyes wander to the lower level and she was greeted by the sight of a well-ruined Mapleshade. Thank God for Zion.
But now the man helping her to her feet had seen the escaping teens and demanded their death. Neither Lachlan or Wolfram could defend themselves now- and what about everyone else?
Indigo had dragged a declining Toby past them and escaped long ago. Zion, tucked away into some nook here, was still recovering from his gory assault. Misty and River undoubtedly were still making progress in transforming the place into a horrific massacre scene. Emily, Sherri, Fritz...hopefully alive?
I'm the only one who can do anything. How ironic.
"I get myself into situations and I get myself out of them," she shot in rebellious parting at Wolfram and Lachlan as she lopsidedly skidded past them. "Also, if you're awake enough, you might find that shifting would make it easier for him to carry you."
She came to a stop at the foot of the stairs, planting her good leg hard while her left leg trembled betrayal of its infirmity. The spilled enemy blood embellishing the floor and walls leered at her, promising her own flesh an imminent place alongside Mapleshade's.
The man supporting Mapleshade didn't appear to be armed, but the next fleet of summoned masked individuals most likely wouldn't come so unprepared. He was notably tall and the shoulders beneath his uniform certainly weren't unmuscled, but the mask prevented Bleddyn from evaluating his facial features. No matter an opponent's physical advantage, the hearts that called the shots were the real determiners of a confrontation's victor and loser.
Hopefully, luck was still on her side and he himself was just an insignificant coward with an unheeded voice. Keep thinking that.
You owe the cat dude this.

This is why I hate owing anyone anything.
"Alright, so you want to kill him? Get past me first."
All of Bleddyn's tendons tried to flinch as this stranger's choice of words hit her where she was perpetually vulnerable. Though she didn't let herself shy, it was hard to keep her glare fed with the feckless courage that this front demanded. As he tore away the mask, the revealed green eyes were demeaning, amused- as if he somehow knew the accuracy of his derogatory greeting.Wolfram twisted around, a painful ache shooting through his arm. Confident Mapleshade could stand on her own, His masked gaze drifted to the newcomer. A injured, blonde haired teenage girl. Ignoring the pleading cries of his son, he lifted the mask from his face, finding it a hundred time's easier to breath now. Tossing the mask somewhere in the dark corners, he looked at the girl with almost a sense of curiosity, but also disgust."And you can do what, exactly?"Even without the mask, his voice didn't change. It sounded unnaturally deep.
"What do you want from us? I thought you wanted nothing to do with me."Wolfram hissed, unable to hide the tremble in his voice."You abandoned me and Silver, after all."
"Please Bleddyn, walk away. Walk away. You don't know what he can do. Walk away."Wolfram slowly slid along the wall, slowly making his way toward's Bleddyn and his father. All of Bleddyn's tendons tried to flinch as this stranger's choice of words hit her where she was perpetually vulnerable. Nettled by the presumptuous air this man had for his own victory, she ignored Wolfram's panicked cry for her retreat and arrogantly folded her arms across her chest.
"I can fight, unlike 99% of your people here. And yourself?"
Suddenly Wolfram's audible hatred for this man registered.
"Ohhhhhhh. You're him."

Crud. Lachlan watched at man, in mere seconds that he took his mask off he connected in his mind by the way he was acting, he was Wolfram's father. Physical speaking, he looked like an older, more burly, green eyed Wolfram, they had the same pale skin, same black hair, same face shape. "Oh, kill us?" The calmness and ruthless sound in his voice shocked himself. But hey, he'd been shocking himself all day. "I think you may find that... Hard. We have a knack for not dying, ya'know. Besides, your soldiers are pathetic." He snarled, creeping past Wolfram and to Bleddyn's side."Please Bleddyn, walk away. Walk away. You don't know what he can do. "Wolfram's father? Yes."He gave a grunt of disconcern to Wolfram's pleading cry. Ignoring the rest of her words, he continued speaking."You must be his girlfriend, I would never expect a child of mine to be so desperate to protect someone."His green gaze flickered towards Wolfram."You're pathetic, Why your mother ever loved you, I don't know."
"Maybe because my mother accepted everyone for who they where, unlike you. You rejected me the second you laid eyes on me."Wolfram hissed, narrowing his eyes in attempt to rid of the clawing darkness. Though, through the on coming call of sleep, his eyes found Bleddyn. Honestly, how could she be standing in front of both Mapleshade and my father, and still be defiant as ever? Maybe I'm just weak...
His green eyes narrowed at Wolfram's words, before he looked back to Bleddyn."I should just kill you all, it would be easier that way, I think."
Wolfram grabbed Lachlan's arm."Don't, don't, don't. Stay here, I don't need more people triggering him."His eyes never left his fathers, expect for a heartbeat to look at Mapleshade. Bleddyn unhooked her arms from each other to crack her knuckles, Lachlan's nearing voice bolstering her confidence. "It'd be amusing to see you try, honestly. Lachlan stopped as Wolfram grabbed his arm. "Fine, but if he comes up here, I'm giving him a serious piece of my mind." He muttered, still fired up. He stood defensively beside Wolfram, watching Wolfram's father with a glare, as if daring him to come up at them."Oh, for the love of all things sacred, first her and now you. The viscous sarcasm practically oozed from her next words and added to the mess on the floor. "All fantastic, sublime things, of course. Our friend has given us absolutely no reason to rip you apart here and now."
The emphasis she forced onto 'friend' came back to rile her standing hatred for the teenage cat shifter who now sat helplessly above them, but she reluctantly dismissed it. Let him think we loyally stand for Wolfram and hate what's hurt him.
At least it's true in Lachlan's case.
