«We Could Be Legends»

Brisa sighed and gave up on the call. "Well, should we head to the bank? I just feel a little uncomfortable doing this without the others." She said, squinting a a little as she tried to think up any other options.
(I won't be able to post again until Tuesday after 5:00pm or later, so happy roleplaying! :frow Wish me luck on my midterm Tuesday! :fl :sick :lau ...)
(Good luck but you wont need it)

"Alright, superiorly friendly being, you want me to prove my intelligence and shoot out that door, never to return?" Bleddyn offered dryly, increasingly irked by every attribute he gave her name. Nope, I can't just take the flipping compliment, sorry. "Under the advisory of my intellect, I could smack you a few times on the way out, as well. An exclusive courtesy of my commendable ingenuity, of course."
"Mhm, it would be very easy for you, wouldn't it? Do I bother you that much that you would go out, alone, at dark, while its raining, and never return? And no, no thank you I do not need to be smacked again."Wolfram replied, obviously enjoying the fact he was bothering her."Beside, why would you want to leave? You have warmth, food and, oh I don't know, I'm here to, I did save your life, more then once." She's going to kill you, you know that, right?

(Kid, this is not how you win over a girl. Not even a Bleed fun.)

Bleddyn ran the full set of her left nails over her right palm thoughtfully, as if she multitasking and carefully calculating all of his potential fates on the side. "You do know that if I'm grounded for eternity because my parents see all this and realize that I've got a bounty on my head -all thanks to some guy I just met showing enough interest in me to make me intriguing to a pack of psychos after him- I'll never see you again anyway, right?"

The grin on Wolfram's face instantly faded into a frown, the light from his eyes dying as if someone had flicked a switch."Thanks for making me feel bad."He, almost seeming reluctant, let go out her arm, folding both of his arms across his chest."Sorry I dragged you into this."He mumbled, staring at his feet."I should have known Mapleshade had something to do with this. I should have just...ignored you and let you live your life normally. If your parents find out about...this, I'm sorry that I dragged you into it."He backed away from her slightly, refusing to meet her gaze.

"Hey, this kind of insane crap is what I live for." Bleddyn couldn't help offering twisted consolation as he visibly deflated with guilt. The look of fuming irritation remained plastered across her face, but her tone was getting progressively less confrontational. "Without having met you, I'd be subjected to a fatally monotonous weekend of agonizing homework in the painful safety of my bedroom."

"Oh, so I guess I'll have to add that to my list of everything that I've saved you from."Wolfram offered half-heartedly. He couldn't help but feel guilty for dragging her into that, and in the process getting her wounded. He shuddered at the thought of her in the van, visibly fading with every breath she took. I'm such a coward...what's wrong with me? "Anyway, you should go get that wound checked."He muttered, his voice colder then before, as he shut off completely.

Good, I've hit him and he's down- out of my way for the moment, she brooded silently as she took in Wolfram's posture degradation, though the victory wasn't as sweet as she'd expected.
"Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do." With that, Bleddyn spun on her heel and limped down the overly sanitized corridor.
As she came to the first of many healing rooms, she balled her fists and rammed the door impatiently, exerting the force of demand typically reserved for an actual emergency, and definitely with zero regard for any potential hurting occupants.
