«We Could Be Legends»

Fritz put his hands behind his back, possibly to hid the fact that they were still sparking. Eyeing Wolfram for a few moments Fritz finally spoke, "Yeah, I gotta get home too." He turned around and stalked out the door Bleddyn just skipped out.
Emptiness just hung in the air. Bleddyn had seemed to suck the life out of the room. Wolfram just stood there, the lights burning his eyes, the shiny floors glittering with the bright lights. He felt so alone at that moment, so hurt. The thought that always laid in the back of his head creeped to the front of his mind, lingering there. This is why you don't make friends or talk to people. Because they abandon you and leave you hurt. You should never have even said a word to her. But you did, and now you're hurting for it. Idiot. You can't keep anyone. No one wants you. Your mother Wasnt even strong enough to survive for you.

Indigo walked back to the door, feeling cold and wet.
"After having Frosty as a partner once in a while, you appreciate walls and a roof."
She looked back at the huddled figure with a large resemblance to an angry fifth grader throwing rocks in the water. "If your bleeding and dying, I beg you, complain to me. Pretty sure all your organs are messed up from that bullet."

Ignore her! She means nothing! She's merely a child! Just let the ungrateful jerk go! Wolfram snarled softly, staring out of the still open door. Go after her. She's wounded, are you just going to let her get soaked and hurt worse? He was debating just letting her go, never to see her again. But the other half of him urged him to go after her, because she was wounded and in the middle of pretty much nowhere. With a agitated snarl, he walked out into the pouring rain, hissing in annoyance as the cold liquid ran down his back."Hey you filthy little brat!"He snarled after Bleddyn, his voice harsh and certainly not welcoming."Get back here now! I do not need your parents killing me or Lachlan when we tell them that their daughter ran off into the middle of nowhere!"

"True, but inside has jerkface 1 and 2." Toby sighed. Seriously? Now I'm doing name calling? That's pathetic. I am pathetic. "Who cares if my organs are messed up? I would rather die than get healed." He said stubbornly.

Wolfram's throat tightened, the need to punch or kick something overwhelmingly strong. He glanced back at her, turning around, catching one last glimpse of her blonde hair."Goodbye...."He whispered softly, his lips shuddering at the words left his mouth, and they lay heavy and empty in the silent air, he just stood there staring out the door longingly. Fine! Be that way! I don't need you! I don't need your friendship! You mean nothing to me, NOTHING do you hear me?! He silently screamed after her, even though his words silent there was pain in them. But that small sliver of him, the side he tried to never show slid through. Do you really mean that though? Do you?

Bleddyn whirled around, practically spitting her rage. The rain had already cleansed her face of all its scarlet inequities, surrendering the task of premier notability to her eyes. Her hair hung limply over her shoulders and the shredded remnants of her shirt were now plastered alongside the angry bruises on her torso.
She would've been a piteous sight if it weren't for her balled fists and menacing grimace that had worsened greatly with every antagonistic move of his.
"Then it should be my prerogative to get away from here as far as possible, should it not? I've never stopped for the convenience of someone else."

Wolfram was practically emotionless on the outside, his eyes cold. He stopped only a few feet away from her, narrow his gaze. It's so satisfying to see her so angry at me, but it hurts so much at the same time....Why the pain? Why me...? "You want me dead, then?" Cold rain ran down his face, strands of his raven black hair plastering itself to his forehead. The rain was almost as unwelcoming and cold as he tone seemed."You know, Bleddyn, I'm not going to fight with you. I'm done fighting. I'm...I'm done with arguing and being agitated twenty four seven. You obviously hate me, and don't want to see me, ever again. Fine. I can't force you to be my friend."He paused momentarily, his cold gaze seeming to soften ever so slightly."I'm not going to apologize, because I have nothing to apologize for. I don't expect you to apologize either. I don't need a apology, because quite frankly I don't deserve it. I know I haven't probably been the best person to you these past...however many days its been, but I'm trying. My actions are-"He clenched his fists tightly, clenching his jaw."-Very childish and unfair. I know that now. I can't change what I've said. But I can try and change my future actions. I....I really can't say anything else Bleddyn, all I can say is...I tried to be nice, but I guess I just can't."He turned away from her, starting to walk back into the Multitude bases. She's a lost cause...

"Don't know why you followed me out here, then, but I'm glad we can both agree on all that. Because the three things I hate most in life are niceness, apologies, and friends," she fired after him, mentally stabbing him to the death he'd wished upon himself. With every additional word, you have me desiring to see you a whole new eternity's worth of never.
"See you never, Wolfram."
Somehow, her using his full name made the parting all the more cruelly savage.
Her gaze lingered on his sodden retreating form for a few more seconds, then she whirled on her heel and stormed past Fritz and the other occupants of the slicked bridge.

Wolfram stopped in the doorframe, letting out a shuddering sigh. See you never, Wolfram. He swallowed hard, despretely trying to push his emotions down. I tried, I swear it. I tried to be nice to her... He slammed a balled fist into the doorframe, snarling loudly. Why am I even here?! Let me just die already and let the pain be over. He glanced at his scarred arm, staring at it, almost thoughtfully. She was wrong to stop me the first time. This isn't my place. Isn't my time. God, everything is making me think so much...stuff I don't want to. I just barely met her, why am I like this? He suddenly shoved the door open, and it flung against the wall, the door shuddering at the force of the hit."Are we leaving or not?!"He snarled harshly at River, his eyes sparkling with the rage of a untamed rabid wolf. Frick these emotions! I'm not going to try with anyone, ever! I'm done with sulking! No one...and I mean no one will ever get close to me again.

"Toby was shot. We've been trying to get him to let the healers heal him, but he won't listen. Think that if I put him on the phone you could talk him into it?"

Jessi growled. "Yeah. It could take a few minutes and a few threats, but yeah, I think I could convince him. Just wait until I see him again, he's gong to be smacked." She said the last part quitely.
