Alpha licked Toby's face repeatedly, and scratched at his chest. Toby sighed, and pat Alpha's head. "Snooze. Snooze. Why don't you have a snooze button?" He grumbled, sitting up. He had fallen asleep in the armchair, and was now regretting it. Alpha ran into the kitchen and danced around, excitedly waiting for his breakfast. Toby grabbed a paper bowl and filled it up with dog food. He sat it on the ground and walked into the bathroom. He was able to convince Jessi to let him go home to grab his work uniform, and he quickly changed into that. He walked into Jessi's room and threw a pillow at her head. "Wake up Jess, your going to make me late for work." Toby said, and walked downstairs. Jessi rolled out of bed and into the kitchen, her hair a knotted mess. "Must. Get. Coffee." She said.
"Hurry up, I'm leaving in twenty minutes." Toby told her, and walked into the living room.
Jessi quickly went into the bathroom and washed her face. She brushed her hair, got dressed, and put on some makeup. She walked into the living room with Toby. "Should we wait for the others?" She asked. "Depends if they wake up and are ready in ten minutes." He replied.

Alice hesitated unsure of what was going on with Misty, she had seen her Aunt get angry before, but nothing like this. She slowly moved forward and knelt next to her, hands shaking as she brushed strands of hair from her face. "Aunt Misty?" She whispered, she didn't respond. Alice's stomach turned, unsure she was going to be ok. "Aunt Misty?"

"We know where the key is." Alice whispered.

Misty still laid on the floor, the only movement was her shallow breathing. How could everyone just ignore the fact that Misty, the strongest person she knew was laying in the middle of the floor?

Alice shoved herself angrily to her feet, "YES! Can you not SEE that Misty needs help!?" she yelled point over to her still form. Dizzy and nauseous, Alice staggered back panting. "I'm gonna be sick." She muttered and then took off up the hallway to the bathroom.

Brisa stood, torn between following Alice and going over to Misty. She finally decided to approach Misty, cautiously stepping closer and kneeling down by her head. “What do you think happened?” She asked, her hand lingering over the pocket that held the key.

Jenna walked up to Misty and crouched down. "She's strong, she'll be okay. Help me get her on the sofa." She said, dragging her to the sofa.

Brisa grabbed under one of Misty’s arms and helped Jenna pull her over to the couch. “I’ve never seen her act like this before.” She said. “I mean, we’ve all seen her angry,” she added ruefully, “but never like this.”

"Neither have I." Jenna said, shaking her head. She rolled Misty on her side and draped a blanket over her. She looked around at everyone. "You all are hurt. You need to see a doctor. Being kidnapped and attacked will often give people post traumatic stress disorder, also known as PTSD. You should be evaluated by a psychologist trained in that area." Jenna said.

"Got it!" Toby said excitedly when he successfully opened the case. He pulled out the guns and bullets, and loaded them into his backpack. He turned around and crashed into Jessi, who had been walking behind it. "'Scuze me, gotta go." He said, running downstairs.
"Where are you going? Stop!" She yelled at him. He stopped when he got to the kitchen and turned around. "Fine. I'm going to get the poison, no matter how long or how dangerous it is. I'm going to find a way to destroy it, probably involve throwing it into space." He said glaring at her.
"I will not let you do that! You are going to die!" Jessi yelled at him, standing in front of him.
"No I won't, I will be perfectly fine! The only person that will get hurt is you if you don't get out of my way." He snarled.
"Oh no, I'm so scared. What do you plan to do? You won't be able to beat me in a fight, you never have been."
Toby growled. He was frustrated, and he needed to do something, anything.

Zion glanced at his sisters for a moment then looked down at his hand. He had just hurt his mother. No... Whatever that thing was that was making her act that way. That wasn't her. That wasn't his mother. That thing wasn't Misty Hero. Beloved wife to Gage Hero and the protective, caring mother of Zion and Delilah Hero.
No whatever that was, was something from the FBI, or Elemians. Something! It wasn't her! He knew his mother and he knew that wasn't her in the slightest. He watched the others as they picked Misty up and placed her on the couch, nodding at them gently then he sat down at her feet. Leaning over and wiping away the foam from her mouth with the corner of the blanket, he watched as a river of tears poured out of her eyes and down her cheeks. Zion smiled gently, stood up and walked over to the others.
"Guys tell me what's been going on, please."

I locked eyes with Zion when he looked at me and I knew we were thinking the same thing. That monster was not our mother. It took OVER our mother, but it was not her. I stood there and watched the others pick up mom and put her on the couch, foam still coming out of her mouth. Zion stepped forward to go over to mom and I instinctively reached out to pull him back. I was scared, but I knew that the monster was gone by now. How the hell did we pull that off? I thought while looking at my clenched fist. Mom never lets her guard down around others. But maybe that Monster is trying to get her hurt. That's why we were able to end it for now. After a few moments of pondering what just happened, I heard Zion's footsteps and then looked up when I heard his voice.I stepped beside him as he asked what was going on and I listened intentively.
But I was horrified to hear what had happened.

River pushed her ears forward at the unmistakable infuriated snarl of her best friend, Ash, her own stomach twisting violently as her eyes fell on the younger woman, quickly reaching her arm up to wipe away rebel tears that had formed in the corners of her eyes, threatening to drop and reveal her cracked emotions to the fearful others. She ground her fists into her eyes, before dropping them after a few moments, staring into space dumbly until the black spots that had cluttered her vision receded. What am I suppose to say?
She finally pulled herself away from the wall, however much she wished to simply evaporate into a shadow. "I'm here, Ash." She muttered, drawing herself up to her full height of a intimidating six feet and one inch. "Before you start bumbling over your words, don't freak out, and please, one question at a time, I hardly know what's going on as it is."

(Misty is her other best friend :p She officially has two. XD)

Wolfram let out a soft growl, pulling his knees to his chest on the couch. Soft morning light was flooding in through the windows, yet he wished it was still night.
Sleep hadn't come to easily. He had spent the night twisting and turning, unable to fall asleep. When sleep did come, flashes of violence and death clouded his mind, jerking him awake ever second it got. He sat up slowly, hissing through clenched teeth as his wounds decided to flare up, sending violent aches through his body. Peterson and Scorch leapt on top of him, pawing at his chest begging for food. "You'll have to wait, you two." He mumbled softly, gently lifting Scorch onto his lap. "Crazy dogs."

Lachlan slowly approached where Wolfram's blown up air mattress laid when his friend awoke. He sat down on the couch beside him, careful to avoid Misty's feet. "Didn't get much sleep, did you?" He asked quietly, highly aware of the still sleeping inhumans.

Lachlan dropped his green orbs of eyes from Wolfram's blue gaze, his eyes falling on Camilla, where she laid curled up asleep in a ball on the couch. She hadn't moved since the day before, other than tossing and turn in her sleep, until she finally went completely still under her thick covers. His eyes then flickered to River, where she laid still on a bed of pillows not far away, she could have looked dead if it weren't for the soft rises and falls of her chest, heaving air in and out to survive. Unlike Camilla, River hadn't tossed and whimpered in her sleep, but he was all too certain of the silent tears that had escaped for the first half of the night, and the dark memories that pledged the rest. He was almost positive that she was awake, simply pretending to be sleeping, afraid of facing the others.
He slowly shook his head to Wolfram. "I didn't."
