«We Could Be Legends»

"We got anything other than our pockets to put this little buggers in?" River asked, stuffing four into each of her two jean pockets, before grabbing a ninth and turning it over in her hands, examining it, its faint blue glow reflecting in her dark blue eyes.
Wolfram frowned, shaking his head. He stuffed two crystals into each jean pocket and three into the pockets of his sweatshirt. Suddenly he pulled the hood of his sweatshirt off his face. "We can use my sweatshirt hood."

Toby walked farther into the cave, away from the others. They were too distracted with other things, so he planned to bring some of the crystals to them. He was feeling awfully alone. Normally Alpha was with him everywhere, but he had stayed at the top. He pulled the knife out of his pocket, occasionally slashing at the shadows that moved towards him. He climbed over some rubble, and dropped down at the other side. His jaw dropped as he was greeted with glowing blue crystals. "Wow." He said, staring at them all.

River nodded, turning away from him. "Thank you." She murmured, and began walking after Toby.

River came up beside him, smirking. "They're beautiful, huh?" She said, getting to work on collecting them.

"Y-yeah, they are." Toby said. He picked one, and started examining it. "It's creepy how they're full of bugs." He twirled it between his fingers. Maybe when all of this is over I can find a nice chain for this. Mom always had a very thin silver chain. It won't be exact, but maybe I could find one close. He thought. He put the crystal in his pocket, and collected a few more.

Wolfram glanced at River, before dashing after Toby. The darkness was calming to him, even though he couldn't see. It's better this way. That way, you can't see the demons that are waiting to kill you.

Wolfram came up beside Toby, stopping dead. "Wow..." He breathed, stepping over a pile of rocks, picking up one of the crystals. "They are....really beautiful...blue, like....." Like Bleddyn's eyes?
Misty trotted up beside River in wolf form and shifted back onto her human feet. She looked around the cave, memories of Gage's wings melting into a black puddle of tar around him flooding her mind. She shook her head violently for a moment, clearing away the images then picked two for each member of her family off the ceiling.

Wolfram whirled around, gasping sharply. "Misty? You almost gave me a heart-attack." He growled, eyes narrowed, a hint of hostilty in his tone and eyes.

Toby jumped when Misty arrived. "Oh. Um, hi." He said, collecting more crystals and putting them in his backpack. "How long have you been here?"

Misty kept her eyes trained on the crystals, her expression going blank before she shook her head again and smiled at Toby and Wolfram. "Ive been behind you guys the whole time."

"Oh that's just great!" Wolfram sneered, sounding anything but ecstatic. "More people stalking us, that exactly what we want." He ripped a Crystal from the ceiling, reaching his arm back and dropping it into the hood of his sweatshirt. "I mean, I totally feel one hundred percent comfterable with random people following my every move and watching where I go. It's not like any of them are insane killers or neglective fathers or some insane lady that was possessed by her demon, not at all."

Toby frowned. "Well that's not creepy or anything." He said, picking more crystals. "Better you than someone who will kill us." He paused, turning towards her. "You're not going to kill us, right?"

Misty tilted her head, "possessed by her demon?" She echoed. "What insane delusion are you talking about now Wolfy?" She asked then winced at the nickname

Misty took a step back and pinned her ears against her head
Do they know what I did on Elemians? I only told Gage that, and only Gage...
"What are you guys talking about?" She asked holding the crystals close to her chest
(Misty doesnt remember fyi, after Zi and Del knocked her out she doesnt remember a thing)

Wolfram snarled, backing away from her. "Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." He hissed, eyes glinting in the dim light of the crystals. "Don't try and cover up your mistakes, I suffer enough pain from you and have the bruises to prove it. Don't act like you don't remember you....you...freak!"
