She looked up at him, meeting his gaze with her bright green one. “It’s okay.” She said quietly to him. “We’ll figure it all out. I know you don’t like Indigo, but she is helping us for some reason. We’re getting something good out of this. Just hang on a little longer.” She finished, trying to stay calm even though nerves were fluttering in her stomach. “We can do this.” She added softly, almost to herself, taking a deep breath and trying to quiet the anxious and impatient yelling in her brain. Come on, lady, believe Indigo! Hurry up!
"I–" Suddenly he broke off when Indigo gave him the key. Wolfram took it numbly, staring at the envelope. He glared at Indigo, but didn't speak. "This...." He whispered. "Let's go, lets get out of here." He pulled away from Brisa, jerking head head toward the entrance. "I don't dare stay here a second longer now that we have this."Molly's palm clenched on the desk, but she relaxed. "Ok, all right," she muttered.
Molly spoke to the man and he returned with an envelope in his hand.
This time it was handed to Indigo, who frowned and gave it to Wolfram, pressing it into his palm gently. "Next time, bring your ID," she muttered.
The desk clerk, meanwhile, seemed to have forgotten about the whole ordeal.
