Lily looked up quickly, fumbling for her gun, until she realized that is wasn't a Pure. "L-Lily, my n-names Lily. Wolfram's...friend." She hesitated, Alec just sitting there, watching. "We're fine."

He carefully stood up, testing his footing. Once he thought he could walk, he staggered away from the cars. I need to find Jessi. I can’t let her die. Toby thought, looking through the smoke for a pink wyvern.
He tripped over bodies, but he was surprised with his ability to stay standing. “Jessi?” He called softly.

“I can help,” said a golden voice. A golden face came with it, along with two faintly glowing golden fairy wings, ripped and burned. The pixie.
A golden orb grew between her fingers. “This’ll give energy. Not healing, but you’ll feel less exhausted.”
She handed the orb to Alice. “Use this. You’ll absorb it’s energy when healing people, and it will clear your thoughts.”

"Oh, thank you." She said taking the glowing ball. "I can heal you too." She said offering her hand to the small fairy girl.

"Yeah." She fought back the urge to say 'nice to meet you'. But she didn't know what else to say. Alice glanced over at her sister, who was still sitting on the ground. "Sorry I freaked out on you guys. I don't know what's wrong with me." What was I even yelling at them about? She shook her head and turned back to the fairy girl, waiting for a response.

Now they were glowing a gold brighter than the rest of her. Some of the scratches she had sustained underground had been healed as well. She released Alice’s hand and gave her wings a few experimental flutters.
“Thank you,” she said, smiling warnly. “I didn’t know wings could do that,” she admitted.

Alice slowly lowered her trembling hands to her sides, her eyes opening and fixing on an unknown point. Her teeth dug in to her lower lip but she didn't notice. Everyone's fine. Her voice repeated calmly in her head. We just have to find every body and then we can go home. A small smile twitched at the corners of her lips. We can go home and everything will be fine. Alice took a deeper calming breath, and looked back up at Finley, her bright blue eyes dull and empty. She smiled, then distractedly looked around.

"Toby? Who should I heal next?" She asked, oddly cheerful.

Toby looked up towards the direction of Alice when she said his name. Her mood swings were starting to freak him out. “Wha-? Oh. Uhh, where’s m-mrs. Loson and Wolf? They should be pretty high on the... the list. I could try to find them, if you want...”

Finley took a step back from Alice, unnerved by her sudden mood changes. He glanced at Toby. "I think Lachlan went to find them." He murmured. And I hope he finds them soon.

Then he heard a voice, a voice he felt like he hadn't heard in a long time, yet it felt so familiar. He whirled around, letting out a sharp gasp of pain. "Lachlan."
After River let Lachlan go, Wolfram took a few steps closer. "Hey, Lach."

Lachlan grinned at him. "Boy, am I glad to see you. Was starting to think you were dead." He glanced Wolfram over. "And may still believe it." He said worriedly, looking over at River, then back to the other teenager. "We need to get you two back to Jenna's van so Alice can take a look at you two. She's healing people, and out of everyone, you two need it the most." He paused for a second, checking to make sure no Pure was coming up on them.
"Who all is there?" River asked anxiously.
"Toby's there, so is Alice, Finley, Ash, Lily, Peter, Grace, Indigo, and Brisa."
